Blizz doesnt give AF about hc or game breaking bugs that kill your characters.
I love the Wizardry 8 Manual with its disclaimer for it’s Ironman Mode:
‘The publisher and developer of this game cannot and will not restore lost Iron Man games for any reason, including, but not limited to: power failure, hardware failure, software failure, brain failure, meddling pets/roomates/children/significant others, fumnbled weapons, fizzled spells, rampaging Hogars, bloodthirsty Rapax or acts of the Cosmic Lords. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.’

If my character is not going to be rollback and given back im done with this game for good, plus i will take my time to post reply of Blizzard for my ticket where i described how my character died to each group existing about diablo including Path of Exiles groups so people see… i spended a lot of time on my HC character to be taken out of me by developer mistake… unethical. Even expansion game price all seasonal passes went to support this game developer which wont give a fk about us when does mistake? if thats true im glad to know because i wont give them no more any penny.
Nothing is forever, especially in entertainment, especially in video games.
Have fun in PoE2 early access, oh wait, it’s delayed because it’s too broken to open up.

This is not the game to play Hardcore in. There are too many damage bursts and instant kill mechanics to survive all the content.
I can’t believe anyone still plays hardcore in this mess. Everyone knows D4 has no promise of stability. At this point, there is no excuse for being surprised when you lose your character to circumstances beyond your control.
You’re right. They don’t. They explicitly tell you this in a warning screen prior to making every new HC char. “Customer Support will not revive your character FOR ANY REASON, and all items in their inventory will be lost forever.”
It does not say “well we might roll our character back if it dies from bugs or crashing”.
It says “…will not revive your character FOR ANY REASON…”
Makes HC character. Agrees to above mentioned warning window. Asks for roll back. Quits game because Blizz did exactly what they said they would do

Actually they did do something about it. They added a warning window explicitly tells you that they will not revive your character FOR ANY REASON before you can make the character. Therefore, they cannot be held accountable if a character is lost due to conditions outside of the players control. The player agrees to this or doesn’t get to make the character and play it. If the player doesn’t agree with these conditions and click to play anyways … that is their own fault. There is no fine print. It’s black and white and shoved in your face exactly what those conditions are.

I lost one character right after the patch. I just got DC/d again… Thankfully I did not die but it used my one and only scroll.
Through all the years of all the Diablo games, HC characters dying because of bugs have ALWAYS been an issue. As far as I know, they have never done anything about it even tho it was their own fault. This is not new.
It will not affect their image at all (which is already bad enough) lmfao. it never has. Yet there are always people saying that it will. but those same people come back and just make another HC character knowing that blizz does no testing.

im waiting for answer or decision how HC characters… im really considering ending with game if this developer doesnt give a fk about what he does to us with his mistakes then im not interested anymore to support this ignorant care…
I lost HC characters… For Patch T-T
