I figured it out. Like me, everyone here was probably spamming attacks at the end. However when the last yellow light drops from the lion, you will notice that all your attacks have the golden lion emblem.
Only hit this attack once, do not spam any attack afteror you will cancel this special lion attack animation . The skill has about a 3 second animation and most be used to kill the boss!
