It does affect you, though. The only efficient way to do this is grouping, and as such the trickle-down effects of duping will impact you. The OP already pointed out that he couldn’t join his Duriel rotation because he didn’t have 100+ runs. That’s a thing. It’s a lot harder now to get a group for 1-2 rotations, which is what a normal person would have. Lots of hold outs for 10+, 20+, 50+ runs, which is nuts.
There’s also diminishing interests. People have done run their 500+ runs on duped mats and got all their ubers, so they aren’t running rotations anymore. Less people interested in running, harder to get groups, forcing you to run less often than desired or solo, which is inefficient.
It’ll also be a thing when you can’t join Zir groups because you’re not rocking ubers in every slot. That’ll happen as well.

It’s a generalized use of the word “you”. I laid out 3 examples for how duping impacts people trying to do Duriel groups and or Zir. If it doesn’t apply to “you” specifically, then great.
Lemme see if i can do this.
Grouping is not necessary to do durial or get UUs. So all of your points of “efficiency” are moot. This is a single player game with an option to group. Duping does not affect this game one single bit. The only thing it does affect are those who RMT to basically buy their UUs. Those of us who refuse to RMT are unaffected as we play for ourselves, by ourselves as this game was clearly designed to do. Duping or how others choose to play has no bearing on me or anyone elses playstyle. We can still play regardless of duping, grouping, or exploiting. I probably should have said this before, but me saying that is not defending blizzard or the cheaters. The behavior needs to stop because it IS cheating. But again, if other people cheat or P2W it does not affect me, you or anyone else UNLESS they are benefiting from said cheating
I addressed this in my above post. You nor i have any idea what the new content on 12/5 will entail. As it stands right now, Uus MINIMALLY increase a build. IF blizzard designs this new content around having a UU or UUs, then they will surely lose a ton of players as the majority of people probably do not have UUs because they choose not to rmt….because it IS cheating/exploiting/wrong/etc. And that will be bad design if it is. Again, you nor i can predict the future and we will not know until the content drops, but i honestly cant see blizz doing it that way.

He’s buying RMT mats. Unless they ban the abusers and fix this somehow—without impacting natural trading—leaderboards and challenge dungeons in Season 3 are pointless.
They are gonna be pointless for 99% of players regardless
why on earth would i want to do zir grouped? seems like a huge waste of time for no added benefit
