Yep and at the same time these barbs will call you or other classes leeches… Sorry we’re not all broken atm…
I dont play with barbs anymore when joining randoms on the discord.
Blizz just nerf it or remove the annoying push. They can keep their damage by charging through a pack and the push goes away… That simple… I mean you literally summoning ghosts to your side to dash through mobs -_-
Its ok if theres a better class. For example. Barb does 110k crits vs all other classes doing 100k crits. Why not? But 1-shotting content that should be more time consuming than 3 seconds and should be awesome and fun is a no-go.
In every Diablo it’s always been the case that when the Barbarian is strong in something, the other classes come crying and screaming for nerfs. It’s really sad.
I as a Barbarian player, when i see how other classes are strong, i’m happy for them. What i want in this case is a buff to my class, not a nerf to the other classes to kill their fun.
Also the Barbarian needs a buff especially in the whirlewind builds.
Before Charge, Druids were everywhere pulling the entire map to them constantly in Legion Raids. Now because Barbarians can move enemies it is a problem?
Charge worked the same last season with the pushing, just the damage was not the same so every lemming was not using it. Those that used it understood how to position and not be a nuisance to the group.
Do you know how many Druids I encountered pulling the entire Legion Raid spawn to them so I could never generate Fury? It is a lot.
Charge is great. It used to suck. Unless they remove Push/Pull mechanics entirely, using that as a complaint is tenuous at best. Don’t see people crying about Steel Grasp or Whirlwind pull.
Be omni mage, have Raiment & TP, join them and corral the herd into your own neat pile for barb to jump on like it was a leaf pile! Be sure to take your barb out for daily walkies.
I did several Legions this evening and it seemed every class was pushing and moving mobs around… Barbs, Necros, Druids, Sorcerers (their chest proc). As a Charge only barb my Charge was on cooldown most of the time due to missing mobs (hence not triggering the full cooldown reduction).
Am I upset about it, no. Am I complaining on the forums about it? nope. Am I calling for nerfs! haha… no… It’s a game, and people are having fun pushing mobs around this season it seems.
You know I got lucky at about level 15. Got everything I needed to get the charge with the ancients online. Even the shout ring. I was mostly building a HOTA barb because it was fun and traditionally in d3 I’ve lived that style when it was viable. Anyway I’m going life & death with a pack 2-3 elite’s plus trash. I accidentally click charge ( cause it wasn’t really in my rotation even though I had the stuff equipped.
Wham! Boom! They are gone… I’m like … ok so be it. I leaned into the charge with everything. It’s just like the only game play is getting enough mobs in a pack to be worth it. Because they’re all dead every time.
Even hell tide. I capstone’d about 41 so every mob is pretty high and mostly my skills are doing very little then - charge… same as always GONE! now it’s fine but at 88 I’m starting to feel something big is missing.
Gameplay there’s no tactics or strategy. Just make sure you set them up and it will wipe them out. Why can’t this game just get stuff right and balanced ffs
Before I played Barb this season I played a LS Druid and watched as barbs charged and hit nothing especially when summoning heralds to farm cores. I stood next to the brazier the whole time channeling LS and spinning in a circle. It was glorious.
