The Shadow Clone summoned by the Grasp of Shadow unique gloves is worthless. I’m doing ranged w/ Heartseeker and at most the summons performs the action once. I presume it has a minimum on-screen duration so people know when it actually triggered, but then it spends most of that time just standing there.
Nearly as bad as only attacking once is the initial delay before it does anything. Lucky hit, materialize, stand there for a short delay, fire bow once, stand around again, dematerialize. Worthless.
I’m not keeping the gloves for the worthless lucky hit; I’m keeping the gloves for the +dmg for my regular Shadow Clone and +core skills stat.
Yeah… Sadly, even in S6 VoH, the gloves are still trash compared to the other glove, including legendary. It had such huge potential.
Honestly, A simple fix would be to make it when a clone is summoned, it mimics that attack “x” consecutive times. Devs could also look at adding the Aspect Of Imitated Imbuement with the gloves. Because lets be real… No one is using the aspect anyways. GoS gloves lack multiplicative dam and combining it would solve this issue.

Lucky Hit: Damaging an enemy with a Marksman or Cutthroat Skill has up to a [24-44]% chance to summon a Shadow Clone that mimics that Skill 3 consecutive times.
Additionally, your Shadow Clones mimic the Imbuements applied to your Skills.
Casting an Imbuement Skill grants your active Shadow Clone [5-25]% increased damage for 9 seconds.
Hopefully, the devs peak this and maybe do something to fix the gloves… but who knows. One can dream.

It doesn’t even need to be a complicated update. Just have it echo damage similar to how Stormclaw on Druid works. Like I would run these on a Shadowstep build if they just did same dmg as mine or even 60-80% of actual dmg.
Don’t worry guys, they’ve been working on a fix since season 2 (remember when Adam Jackson said the addition of the core skill ranks affix was a placeholder to make them viable whilst the effect was reworked).
So given how long the rework has taken it’s definitely going to be incredible when it hits!!
