I have no idea why it got refunded I never requested a refund for diablo 4. I have vessel of hatred and they gave me money back for the standard edition. Should I be worried about blizzard just handing me my money back?

you assumption I did not enjoy my moneys worth is flattering but I have other games on this account I would like them to not restrict.
eventually your transaction got canceled by your bank?
i doubt they just gave you money back lol. In worst case, your account might get locked and youll have to contact the support ticket.
maybe you got a bundle that included the base game so they refunded it?

it was a completed transaction I checked bank first. I had a card specifically for gaming purchases we shall see what happens lol. I will update if they come after me to break my legs

haha no worries. as i said in worst case your account might get locked. thats easily fixed tho after contacting them.

in transactions it says -4.26 with refunded status but I recieved 54.24 from said refund it’s a fishy story cant wait for blizzard to chime in!
So i just received a refund as well. I guess it’s for diablo IV as well. Ill have to check. Seems weird but i did see a few things about a lawsuit involving diablo IV. Thought it was just for views but maybe there was something to it…

I woke up this morning with a similar posted credit on my bank account. I didn’t equate it to Diablo 4 until this post showed up in my Google searching. I have not been in any lawsuit, nor have I initiated a refund of any kind for the game. I put in a ticket (because who cares about looking a gift horse in the mouth!) and if I get a non-automated response, I’ll let y’all know.

yea do that please. thats indeed interesting. I dont see how, or why youd get a refund if you havent been in a lawsuit lol.
only thing i could imagine is people accidently buying the VoH bundle, even tho they already own the base game.

Okay, so I got perhaps the quickest response I’ve gotten on a Blizzard ticket and the Game Master insisted that I had requested a refund: this is news to me because I hadn’t, but I didn’t want the game after playing it a spell so it doesn’t hurt my feelings to have it refunded.
That said, if you have this refund I would open a ticket in order to establish if you still own the game or not. Upon login it still shows I own Vessel of Hatred (at the time of posting this), but that very well may change at some point.
EDIT: Upon review of previous tickets (I’m assuming a refund request would show here) and my emails, I still see no request ever made on my part so I’m curious as to what they’re using to verify a refund request.

hmm… strange… you are the only person with access to the account as well?
For sure good to know. Especially if some people pop up here having lost access even tho they want to keep the game.
the previous tickets you mentioned… could they lead to an assumption that you would want a refund, even if you didnt clearly state it?

I’m the sole user of the account, with an authenticator as well, so no issues there.
I can say that I did look into Blizzard’s general refund policy earlier in the year, but never went past the clarification said policy afforded. In fact, no ticket of mine before today even referenced Diablo 4, so they’d have to have taken my uninstalling the game as the assumption for refund in that case

Out of interest… you didnt by chance get it over steam and had some refund request there? (not exactly sure how it would work over steam, as in, will they direct you to the blizzard customer service, or is steam handling it)

No Steam involvement at all on my Blizzard account, just strictly Battle.net app. Hopefully OP and yourself get a satisfactory answer before too long, Nyurei! Here’s hoping that it doesn’t impact too many folk that want to keep the game, but I’m grateful for my refund
