Another overpriced and lackluster release from Blizzard. Unfinished game to the core, once again i am paying to beta-test for them. They worked 10 years on this? Give me a break.
I could be constructive and start listing the looong list of problems from technical to simple lack of care and creativity. However we all know Blizzard dont care, just another BIG TECH firm now. This was the last time i interracted with blizzard and the last time i let them trick money off me.

AAA game content is extremely difficult to produce
and games are not pure art, they are evaluated by complexity of art and coding assets

Loooooong time Overwatch 2 player here. I uninstalled OW2 shortly before Diablo 4’s release, because they’ve run that game into the ground. Only to be disappointed by D4 after reaching WT3. Hell, they haven’t even been patching D4 for weeks. D4 will be my last Blizzard purchase. No more battle passes or games. For reference, I’ve owned most of Blizzards hits, starting with Warcrafts/Starcrafts, vanilla Wow, Overwatch 1, etc…
Red Dead Redemption 2 took 8 years. It’s a visual and story masterpiece but look at Diablo 4. 
It’s not like Diablo 4 is fundamentally better than predecessors or competing ARPGs. Rockstar games implemented more and better side quests than this by fact.
I remember when Blizzard hyping Diablo 3 having environmental effects on monsters like dropping chandeliers as a big source of mechanic as if it was fundamentally new to the ARPG experience.
Terrible PC port for console/mobile game with awful mobile game/console mechanics like lazy level scaling. Awful game. $100 into the trash. Couldn’t get past lvl 52. Games just so bad.
Been playing diablo since before you were born.
AAA game content hard to produce? Have you played any indie games in the last year? There are a lot of indie game that have been developed by a team of 1 to 10 people that look just as good and are in better condition that D4. Blizzard is 32 yrs. old and has 26+ yrs. experience with servers and they still have issues keeping them stable.
While I did like the story to D4 better than D3 the QoL items added to D3 make it better than D4. If they really took 8+ yrs. to develop D4 they sat on their hands and did not spend their time wisely.
