OH Really, is that where itâs at right about now? LOL Ruh Roh RaggyâŠ
April 4th the patch drops, full release any ones guess.
Just kidding bro, I have no intention of spending extra money on this Diablo abomination
.
And thatâs fine. We all can enjoy your company on the Diablo 4 Forums Instead. ![]()
Ppl said heart cost is 12 now not 4. But i dint ptr so
. But yah cost up in mats according to them.
What are all the costs now? Sonebody do it
Direct from the PTR T4, with pics as proof:

Duriel, 4 shreds

Hate Herald, 4 hearts

Urivar, 12 masks

Andariel, 4 dolls

Grigoire, 12 living steels

Ice beast, 12 distilled fears

Varshan, 12 malignant hearts
I just made a QQ / Rant topic about one hit dying on t4 in this season. It is ridiculous and of course people telling me its a me issue, but when I got all the gear the meta sites telling me and replace some of them to reduce dps but raise a lot of defense and I still get one hit death, that is stupid. Not sure what is 10% player in T4 means but mathematically I cannot see what could defend me from one hit death if I got 80 melee reduction 75% resistance, 30+ dodge, 100% fortify, 100% or much more Barrier, a Vengeful Spirit soaking in all the damage instead of me. And I get one hitted from a rare elite and die.
btw how can you tell that anything is a first step in the right direction w/o trying it?
They canâŠThey have the all knowing sphere of knowledgeâŠeveryone in the first few post know something from the future.
But now in a serious note, since nothing is really changing outside recolored borrowed powers they can pretty much know the things that are goodâŠI mean if you eat oreos your whole life, if oreo pushes oreo 2.0 you can pretty much know it will taste the same and be the same so thatâs that.
Diablo 4 is just a recolored gui patch after patchâŠThey know because itâs in the patch notes lol.
I just want to blast for a week so I can pl my buddy when he gets out of the hospital ![]()
that being said, I doubt that the current hamster wheel meta is the right direction for the game, the core itself is indeed getting better but they really need to buff all the literally unused builds, aspects, glyphs, runes mythics etc so that we can one day achieve the âplay your wayâ status. This would be the only right direction for the game in my opinion, all we can do is play and hope it ever happens.
Iâve tryed it⊠In PTRâŠ
If they stick to the changes made by the PTR
Indeed, like the âothersâ that are mumbling about how bad will be S8 because X, Y & ZâŠ
And they donât even bothered to play the PTRâŠ
Last time I tried to play the ptr the game crashed every 5 minutes and it was missing critical ptr features so I gave up after 45 minutes⊠I tried! ![]()

If you are in T4 Season 8 you are NOT by any stretch a âcasualâ
Iâm stuck on NORMAL.
I do not care about min/max
Iâm not going to pick a build based on what is âoptimalâ
Iâm as good at the game (series) as I was 28 years ago and as good am Iâm going to get.
In prior seasons I could at least manage to run T1 or T2. Wasnât really stressing about not getting farther as it seemed more geared toward the more hardcore crowds.
Now Iâm stuck on normal/hard and gear, bosses, and other content is gated at T1.
I stayed with D4 (room for casual play) over PoE 2 (no room for casual play). Now Iâm looking for another game entirely. Gonna hope Blizz either offers all content on Normal difficulty in the future or dials back the enemy HP/DMG for anything under T3.
Saw your post in the other thread and wanted to ask, but did not.
Why do you believe you are stuck on normal? What is the issue? Is it a physical limitation? OR something game related that can be addressed?
not a bad suggestion btw. Eventually bosses could be accessible below t1. of course, with different loot i guess.
Personally i think you just need a bit to adapt right now. That being said the changes to the bosses are huge for sure, let alone that d4 has went through quite a few reworks on various levels. Give yourself some time.
If you are stuck on normal difficulty tho, eventually you could ask for some help here. I mean, theres litterally no easier arpg than d4, so if you are stuck on the easiest difficulty in the easiest arpg, there might be something pretty important that you are not seeing my friend ^^
Been playing Diablo for 28 years now.
Playing this season as I have all prior.
- I do not watch YouTube or Twitch or any other vids
- I do not check online for builds
- I just load in. Make a character and start running.
- I pick my build by whatever my mood decides. No Meta or anything else considered.
- I gear up based on whatever abilities I have decided to go with.
I have very poor eyesight and not the fastest rection times (partially related). So bosses that one-shot or nearly one shot will be actively avoided or very much not fun if they drop something I was aiming for.
I die in one to three hits in Torment 1 so deaths are frequent with nothing gained along the way. Elites let alone bosses are back to being sponges on normal let alone Torment exacerbating the die in 1-3 hits issue. Just saw your other comment. I actually focus on defense far more than offense in any game I play.
I donât expect to be playing at T4 or on top tier anything. Just enjoyed having access to the majority of the games content which is no longer an option.
i can see that. Personally i was for the seasonal journey being mainly T1 for example. Doesnt hurt the players that want challenges at all.
if you want, you can drop your btag for someone here and one of us will help you?
All of this is fine, I am the same way.
But are you giving yourself every chance to succeed in torment 1. What I mean is.
Is your health pool big enough?
Are you upgrading your gear to be appropriate to where you are?
Are you tempering your gear for more strength.
Are you using gems and elixirs and incense to get more power/health?
Do you have somewhat useful aspects by the time you try Pit 20?
Do you meet the armor and resistance requirement?
All games have rules, to progress, it is just a matter of getting familiar with them.
I cannot change your reaction times or eyesightâŠbut I can help with the rest if you want help.
It may be just as easy as starting with any questions you might have.
The only things in Torment 1 that are hard are things you are not ready to face yet, because you have not geared up enoughâŠand LilithâŠsadly this has not changed and you will need to learn the mechanics of this fight. And even then it is easy to fall off the platform.
Not that I did that or anything.

Hang in there, take your time, find eq wit item power 750, first⊠then fokus on affixes. Rings and amulets give you alot of resist, and reach the 950 armor cap⊠and you will breeze troug T1 pretty quick
I dont now what build you play, but most likely you need crit chance, crit damage, attack speed, voln damage or overpower.
And get correct aspects for your skill.
I believe in youđ
That must be niceâŠ
I get that a week if iâm lucky
None of these changes seem âgoodâ or âcasual friendlyâ, to be fair Iâm on off week and playing 7+ hours a day lately but nothing in S8 seems âgoodâ , âfunâ etc
New battle pass sucks.
I dunno doesnât seem like a step in the right direction at all honestlyâŠ
