I pugged m+ just fine as well as heroic raiding. For mythic raiding I went with my guild. Although they were sometimes I would pug even first few mythic bosses on an alt.
You are right people do gatekeep ahead of time for higher m+. Thats because you have to be skilled. I never had a problem playing what I wanted though. Built io up first. Low keys anyone can do and build it up gradually. If you suck of course you won’t get accepted in higher content.

I find this quite funny, SB can do high pits with minimal gear, other classes need pretty much good gear to do high pits and even then they don’t come close to SB clearing pits.
It’s got nothing to do with contributing, we all contribute…they are just OP arses.

So much for co-op, some people did the same thing in D3 GRs, if they did not like your build you would be kicked out.

Yep. Next to D3, D4 is the most simple, casual friendly arpg there is. If they think they are just going to jump in and start blasting in POE2 like they can in D4…boy are they in for a shock. I give most of them up to that first boss that kills them over and over before they quit and come back.

The first boss was actually quite easy. It was just slow paced and not some one shot fest like D4. Having unlimited dodge roll is cool though.

100% PoE2 is likely to be a better arpg but it will not appeal to the masses of the D3/D4 playerbase.
Agreed, yet a lot of people QQ in D4 because they dont get blizzard to hold there hand every step of the way like D3.
This is why the PoE2 fourms will be a great read.

I mean kicking the dead weight in groups isn’t really a bad idea.
This video was done tongue in cheek, but it’s actually spot on
D4 players will hate Path Of Exile 2

I can’t wait either. Don’t get me wrong, the graphics looks way better and I’ll be checking it out too. But a lot of gripes I see on these boards are going to be amplified a hundred times over on their boards. They think season 1 of D4 was a slow grind? Just wait until they have a long fight with a few bosses or mobs in POE2. There is no hand holding in POE. You either get good, or get out. Don’t expect any mob or boss nerfs either. Those devs have a vision and design direction for their game and they will stick to it. I’ll give them credit for that.

Well we also need to see GGG said they were targeting a “more casual audience” whatever that means. I mean Ill play through it once but having to play the campaign for every new character is kinda bunk… i got spoid woth diablos skip campaign

I’ve seen that quote bandied around, but everything I’ve heard from the devs and gameplay videos shows the opposite.
If they were going for a more casual audience they wouldn’t still have that massive passive skill tree or that complex gem system. Those are going to be immediate turnoffs for casuals.
And I agree on making us play thru the campaign on every character. That’s an old D2 mindset that they need to let the F go. I HATE having to repeat the campaign. It was one of the many turnoffs I had with POE1.

Its cause the devs said that but the statement had no real contex to we will see.
Agreed. Time will tell tho.
Yeah, i dont understand it anymore why an arpg has a forced campaign playthrough. Ill take the skip and level scaling any day of the week.

You should group with your friend only. There are clans also if you have no friend. D4 has clan recruitment page.
I always rota with friend, I carry my Necro friend in T4 and another player maybe Sorc who always die instantly in a T4 raid. I don’t see this is an issue. What I did is keep remind myself that when the sorc is dead, don’t revive him
I thought the same thing going into it but it’s not as difficult as its reputation. The most difficult part is understanding how to craft. There’s a decomposition aspect that makes it tricky. But all of the mechanics you can pretty much fake it till you make it.
Sorc here.
I was wondering about this last night. It’s the first time I used Party Finder, and almost every player logged in are SBs. I got into a group but didn’t have much fun playing. Only two runs and all of them left without a word while I was waiting in Zir’s lair. I was even willing to spend my mats. So I created my group and fortunately played with a Necro, Rogue, and one SB who was unlike those you mentioned.
I also read from another thread that some SB players complain that other classes don’t do much damage in parties. The OP in that thread kicked these complainers out of the group as they were toxic.
Duh. The class imbalance is obvious so it makes sense that damage numbers have a huge discrepancy. If they only know how to use the ‘Same class preferred’ tag or something when creating a group.
I’m sorry this happened to you.
They do 10,000 times more damage. Of COURSE they will kick anyone who is not a spiritborn. Hard to blame them.
That incompatible to the majority of blizzards playerbase. If they cant get what X streamer says playing a few hours a season we dont hear the end of it.

I guarantee any content they were doing they didn’t need this guys help they just wanted the xp boost. This game has zero competitive elements - no reason the party leader needs to be a JO.
It really should be setup that OP was rejected before he even joined.
