You bricked nothing. You had a 2ga(3/5) you rolled suboptimal and either ended with a 3/5, 4/5 or 5/5.
RNG is RNG. It the backbone of arpgs and with the over simplification of loot the new system is easy to get a 5/5. But the system is not friendly to credit card warriors.
