Game crashing when opening map. Error 126

The game runs fine initially, but when I open the game map occasionally the game will crash. usually, this happens after playing for about fifteen minutes.

This is happening on a GTX 1080 and 16 GB of ram.

Drivers are updated, and I’ve lowered the graphic settings and reinstalled the game.

This is the error:

[Crash] GetLastError() = 126
The specified module could not be found.

Thanks!

I get a fenris diaglog box, error code: 5BEF95C7-A7C6-4CD5-BA57-738417C996A1

my game has been constantly crashing whenever I open the map since day one early release. we’re talking 7/10 times it will kick me out of the game. it’s extremely frustrating and makes the game far less enjoyable.

all my drivers are up to date. did clean install even and a fresh install of the game. running on a laptop rtx 3060.

Same problem to me, the game crash more than 10 times a day, 90% when i open the map and i see little freez before crash

rtx 4070ti, 32 gb ram, i7 6700k, win 10, 1 monitor 21:9 2k, and second monitor 16:9 1080p (the game run only on 21:9 monitor)

I have the same error. This is realy annoying.

I have a Core i9-7920X CPU, 128GB of RAM and an RTX 2080ti GPU. I have two 27" 4K monitors with G-Sync activated. Only one monitor is used for the game.

I run on Windows 11 and everything is up-to-date with the latest drivers.
And my computer is optimised for gamming and fully watercooled (the max temps are 60°C).

I have a support case open for this, but am having the same issue, the game is playable until I tab into the map and zoom out and move in any direction, this causes a crash, drivers are up to date but really annoying, need a fix asap

Same issue: open up my map (and sometimes other menus like vendors) and the game crashes with an error box and a random string for the issue.

same here. i start the game, open map, crash. non stop or it will go a while before doing it…

nvidia 4090
13th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i9-13900KS 3.20 GHz

Same here. Game is unplayable at this point. Running an i9-13900 and a 4090.

Same here, game crashes if i open the world map and zoom out to far.
But at the beginning it was working fine, getting this problem since a few days.
5900x + RTX 2080 + 32GB Ram + Win 10

had this problem, and found it was because my quest log was full. completed/abandoned a few quests no more crash.
