I’m at the alchemist Veroka and the list of crafting materials I can refine is bugged.
Gallowvine is listed 5 times in the list. When I put my mouse over each, Gallowvine isn’t in the description of the item details.
You misunderstand the idea behind. Refining has different recipes to convert different resource types into each other. This is especially true for the herbs. Thus you see 5 different ways to produce gallowvine from other herbs. Other herbs also have multiple ways to get.
In short: unlike gems, herbs could upgraded, downgraded and coverted, resulting in many recipes with different ingredients.
