WAS nearly complete on my Bash endgame Barbarian build, on level 68, and suddenly my character stops generating fury. Zero. Cant use basic or core skills. Tried swapping out equipment, changes nothing. HELP

We’d need a lot more info to properly help, but my immediate guess is that you had a piece of gear or aspect with fury per second, then upgraded/changed it.

this literally just happened to me also. I think I had done something that messed with my fury, but for the life of me I have been through everything and not finding it. It may have been on one of the season quests?
when I look at the skills menu for Bash, it originally said generating Fury, now it says costs 25 fury. I can proc fury with some of the other skills and it then starts doing some sort of stacking effect, but just standing still with nothing attacking me, the fury bar fades away, so when I am running between combat I end up not being able to do anything until all the timers exhausted and I can generate enough fury to get at least a hit in.
I also just noticed all the tier one skills say “fury cost” instead of generates fury. Went back to an eternal alt to see if I was just loosing my mind and all the tier one skills still say they generate fury instead of costing fury.
I did strip nekked and run out into the wilds and still no ability to bash without using a skill to first generate some fury.

TL;DR it is Shard of Verathiel
OK, I scorch earthed all my skills and removed everything from my inventory and got the basic skills to finally say generate fury again. I think went one by one with the armour and figured out that it was the Shard of Verathiel that cost 25 resources to hit with. Once I put all the skills back, oddly enough the basic skills section now actually shows both generates fury and costs fury it just generates 15 at the cost of 25 now. 
OK, I’ll have to play around with the sword, but for now at least I figured things out.

I had the same problem
The same thing is happening to me right now, I even started a different Barbarian build and the same thing is happening to my second character, different gear different everything and no fury generation at all
Check that you still have 5 piece Crucible. That 10 per second, and 30% cost reduction can hit like a hammer if you accidentally swapped a talisman and only have the 3 piece bonus.
