I was having the same issue. Random crashing and even blue screens and reboots. I did a complete removal and reinstall of D4. Uninstalled. Removed the folder which had 2 dll files left in it for some reason and then downloaded the game again. Havenā€™t crashed since. Only played a couple hours but thatā€™s still longer than i made it previously.

Update:

Played for several hours today and no crashes after reinstall.

Same issue. Kind of ridiculous that this game got out of beta testing with something this game breaking.

Iā€™m crashing a ton too. Iā€™ve lost so many pit runs cause of this and its starting to really upset me.

Same here. No crashes before the expansion, but crashing about every 1-2hrs now.

The game didnā€™t crash this much during Season 5 but it seems after an hour of playtime or so, it crashes on the dot. Recently it just started to crash for me almost instantaneously and itā€™s gotten really frustrating, I canā€™t even enjoy the expansion with all these crashes going on.

Itā€™s Oct 19 and Iā€™m still getting crashes. I just crashed during hordes and to be honest I think that was it for me.

Crashes every hour or so. Pretty consistent. No real trigger that I can see. Can be moving, standing still, entering a dungeon, fighting - I crashed once when I was doing nothing because I walked away to get a drink refill. My character was just standing there and I wasnā€™t interacting with the game. Crashed anyway.

This is the biggest issue. Iā€™ve lost multiple event ā€œkeysā€ from the constant crashes.

I finally had enough and fixed the problem myself by uninstalling. I hope they eventually fix this for you all but given that they havenā€™t even replied to these posts in 10 days Iā€™m not waiting any more. Just acknowledging the issue would have been enough to keep me. The fact that they are not even willing to do that tells all for me.

Really enjoying VoH so far, but like everybody else here, also riddled with constant crashes, usually happens when doing something fun too, any news from Blizz at all?

Same here. The game completely crashes and restarts my PC. Seems to have gotten worse these past two days. Now it does it sometimes on the loading screen too. Any ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated. I tried playing around with the pagefile and it did seem to improve the situation briefly but as I said it got worse now.

My game keeps crashing every time I get to the logging in screen. If I reinstall my drivers it then works fine.

Yep, same. Game crashes after maybe an hourā€™s worth of time in game. My RAM usage spikes like crazy then the game crashes to desktop. Sometimes my computer completely freezes up and sometimes it restarts my system. 3070ti, 32 gb ram, i9.

Had FENRIS crashes serval times a day since the Vessel of Hatred came out, tested many things with no sucess.

Why is it not on known common issues on this page? Seems like a common problem. :slight_smile:

Fenris crash almost like clock work 1 hour apart. Tech support blames my computer and closes the ticket even tho all my other games work fine for hours on end. Only started after VoH. Iā€™ve even gone as far as to reinstall Windows per the BS copy and paste trouble shooting tech support recommended. . . . Blizzards tech support is a joke they just blame my rig and donā€™t acknowledge this huge widespread issue with their game.

My game crashes every 15 minutes or so, longest Iā€™ve been able to play is around an hour, still unable to finish first quest in the game
