Today I logged into Diablo and played for a couple of hours no problem, then later I logged in to play again and it is telling me that my free trial is over, and that I should buy the game and / or the expansion to play. I have owned the game since it came out, I bought it before it came to game pass. I also pre ordered the Vessel of Hatred expansion (Order #US1091457555) and played all of last season too. When I go to click on “Upgrade to Vessel of Hatred” it brings me to a screen where it says that I have already purchased it. I am unable to play the game because of this, is there anything I can do on my end?

what comes to mind tho: are you using the correct bnet account?
is VOH visible in your battlenet/steam account?
since it told you that your free trial is over i can only assume you switched back to your spiritborn, whos lvl 25.
do keep us updated buddy, make sure to check you arent using a gamepass account, while having d4 base and voh on steam or stuff ^^

I typed this exact paragraph into a support ticket and it is still loading, the website doesn’t want to let me submit it, so I came here.
I’m using the right account, and I played earlier, i have a level 51 necro I played for a couple hours. I can log into my Paragon 265 Spiritborn from last season and play in eternal, and yes, VOH is visible. In fact, when I click to purchase and follow the steps it says, I cant purchase it because it says I already own it.
I’m not sure why it says free trial considering I’ve played every season since S0, preordered the game itself AND the expansion, and have owned gamepass the entire time as well, for both PC and Xbox.
I tried uninstalling, I’m using Xbox gamebar and Battle.net app like always, it was working earlier today but suddenly stopped this evening.

yeah im looking at my battlenet launcher showing in the left isde “Upgrade to VOH!” and in the right side VOH Ultimate Edition In Library!! what the actual Fluff?!
i mean the diablo 4 game pass edition is irrelevant i think. as far as i can see you still cant purchase VoH there. i can only install the base game, and no voh.
anyway, you can only get this fixed through a support ticket. Keep us updated please. it might help other people with similar issues.
The website wont let me submit a ticket under any category unfortunately, it gets stuck at the step where I submit and wont actually submit it

try another browser eventually, my opera GX browser does give me some troubles on certain sites.
Can try scan and repair on the game
- Click the cogwheel next to the Play button
- Select Scan and Repair
- Click Begin Scan
- Wait for the repair to finish
i did a scan and repair - no joy
I uninstalled and reinstalled - no joy
i uninstalled the game, uninstalled battlenet reinstalled all - no joy
It only effects the new character i have been playing today. All of my eternal characters are fine, i can create a new seasonal character no problem. try to log on a new L45 char made today … nope you have to buy VOH
I’m having the same issue and it looks to be related to GamePass. My battle net account says it’s inactive but it definitely isn’t. I think that’s an issue there

but gamepass is active and i can play all of my other gamepass games and download new games … Including D1
