Forced groupers, if you are looking for soloers in that dungeon finder

So bitter and petty. Good job staying true to yourself.

I need to go back and read the notes again.

So, we can get the scrolls from Hordes?

I mean, I do group half the time, but does this mean for those who prefer solo, they can get that temper scroll in hordes?

Oh I need to go back and look again.

You’re not right but don’t let that stop you. I’ve openly admitted the forums are my favorite feature and I love putting people like you in their place which is actually why I’m here.

Usually it’s more fun to do so, but there are many giants in the field, you’re just not one of them. Purposely ignore things you can’t counter, repeat yourself, add smilies. 10k posts worth of it.

yea, you can also get them in hordes. just like they said before, the scroll isnt citadel exclusive.

Ok good, thanks.

I didn’t finish watch the stream.

So this will be good for those not wanting to group. Ok, fair.

yea. its really only the cosmetics the people who “dont care and dont buy the expansion” are griefing about.

I love cosmetics, so I’ll likely group.

But I understand those who don’t want to. Maybe less crying on that topic now?

Other things to me are not so happy on the notes, but hey this is positive.

You can get the scrolls from infernal hordes so it’s not mandatory but I do like cosmetics and think it’s lame that only group content gets a kool new mount and cosmetics. I feel like giving solo players an equal reward system would have be nice.

This is going to be a headache to farm, the biggest hurdle in any group content is people themselves and rarely fun if you don’t have a circle of friends to pull from. “Just make friends” most people who pug in group content loathe party play and are only doing it because it’s “forced” for the rewards, no one chooses to play with randos willingly.

What they didn’t mention was that the key for the hoards only drops in the citadel with a small chance™ outside of it.

I’m confused. Do infernal hordes have an increased temper scroll drop rate? I didn’t see that in campfire Vod or the patch notes.

I love the game, still spending a couple of hours from time to time in the season. I am not really into games anymore and D4 is practically the only one I am playing. So, I do care. Multiplayer games have never been for me. I watch the Campfire and I understood that this is the path D4 is taking. I will give S6 a try but I don’t think I will be buying VoH and without the Xpac it will quickly become impossible to keep playing.

The patch notes just state

" * Scrolls of Restoration have been added to the loot table."

They don’t mention the drop rate though.

That’s because they are confusing a statement made awhile back on the scroll. It will be a small drop rate in the rest of the world just like everything else. But with it being added to Infernal Hordes it will come from the materials chest. Not sure how often, but if its similar to the drop rate of the scroll that increases the level of your sigil, it will be fine enough. I certainly prefer running infernal hordes for that temper scroll over spending hours dealing with other people. but to each his own.

No its an insecure thing. Most of them have nothing going well in their lives so the no life games to get the best of the best and the rarest of the rarest to show off to other excepting to be worshipped like gods because outside of the game they have nothing.

or you know. people enjoy their hobby and dont cry their hearts out whenever blizzard (or any company) releases something that they dont like.

thanks malmegil and oslek. I’m wondering now if the season journey will require clearing the Dark Citadel to get the 2 tempering scrolls. That would be the ultimate kick in the teeth for solo players.

No, it is the content itself.
Rewards, cosmetics or otherwise, are fairly irrelevant tbh. What matters is gameplay.
Hidden away behind an arbitrary group requirement.

how can it be the content itself. its a coop content they release, which you dont like. cool, you dont need to play it.

every game has rules. i have to keep my health above 0 to not die. Does that mean blizzard forces me to survive to enjoy the content? is that a dumb example? of course it is, just like the crying about the citadel.

Of course. I dealt with these types in WOW for years. It’s also about control. They like having power that they don’t have in real life. That’s why they fought a solo pillar in WOW for so many years and freaked out when delves came. Better gear for solo content means less people willing to put up with their B.S. The numbers clearly showed less people doing raids before TWW. I can only imagine the numbers now.

Now that soloers don’t even need that dungeon for that temper scroll, I suspect the forced groupers will soon be demanding best gear because…you know…four players beating up a boss is SO much harder than everything else.

Is there actually someone caring about cosmetics? Looking at someone’s gear, GAs, perfect mw and so on makes sense…why on earth would someone care about a worthless transmog?
