Seasonal bonuses are supposed to be unique and specific for the season. They will sometimes change the way you level and interact with the game. They are meant to be temporary.
And most importantly, not everyone wants to play the new content. They want to play the standard game. Sometimes the seasonal themes can be very bizarre or introduce some ridiculous power creep that ruins the game for some players.
That is why they are often times not included on the “Eternal” realm.
In order to do what y’all want, there’d have to be three game modes basically.
- Seasons
- Eternal with Seasonal features
- Eternal with Standard features
But wait… there’s also Hardcore. So six (6) game modes. With four difficulty settings.
Yes. Let’s segment the population across 24 different game modes/difficulties… that’ll be fun.
Or we could just do what we’ve always done which data clearly indicates works.
