Feedback: More clear buff/skill description, ex: what is "Fully Berserk" of barbarian?

It would be appreciated if buff and skill descriptions could be made clearer.

While playing my Barbarian, I received a buff called “Fully Berserk.” I tried to find out what the effect does and where it came from, but unfortunately I could not find this information in-game. It is frustrating to receive a buff without knowing what it means or what triggered it.

Luckily, someone on the forum kindly explained that it may come from a Set Charm. However, even after reading the Set Charm description, I still could not find anything that clearly mentions “Fully Berserk.”

Could the skill, charm, or buff description be improved so that players can clearly understand what “Fully Berserk” means and where it comes from?

Thank you.

Do you have Joritz Helmet equipped or as a Unique Charm? When you gain Berserking while already Berserking, this is what used to show up.

Thanks for the explanation.

I do not have Tuskhelm of Joritz the Mighty equipped, and I also do not have it as a Unique Charm.

Regarding “when you gain Berserking while already Berserking, this is what used to show up,” my main concern is: where can players find this information in-game?

If “Fully Berserk” is triggered by gaining Berserking while already Berserking, it would be very helpful if the buff tooltip, skill description, item description, or charm description clearly explained that.

I appreciate the help from the forum, but players should not need to rely on forum replies to understand what an active in-game buff means or where it comes from.

If this information were available directly in the game, Diablo IV would feel much more player-friendly.

I very much feel the same. There is an abject lack of information in-game. We should have detailed Tooltips and Calculators that allow theorycrafting in game and a Build Planner in game.

The Testing Grounds need to be more elaborate allowing Players free reign to try out whatever Aspects, Items, Paragon, etc. they wanted with a detailed report. This definitively allows players to test and report interactions that are broken or not working as intended and Blizzard can easily see that data. It should basically be a PTR that lives within Live when you zone into the Training Grounds.

I’m just confirming that “Fully Berserk” comes from the Berserker’s Crucible (I believe that’s the name) charm set. It’s when you have the full, 5-piece set bonus active, and after ~60 seconds when you get all the bonuses to be applied.

I agree OP. Unfortunately this has been a longstanding pattern since release. I don’t think the UX team communicates with the design team or even plays the game TBH as the descriptions aren’t even correct in many instances.

  1. Raid Leader aspect heals allies on shout

2. It used to heal yourself as well, before the skill changes when it was a skill modifier instead of an aspect.

3. It no longer heals yourself at all.

So now “allies” no longer includes yourself? Or is this a bug?

Who knows. Not even the UX team knows I bet.

Interesting post! I’ve read in multiple places (not in the game) that “fully berserk” happens when you gain berserking while already berserk. Yet that is not the behavior I see. I’m always berserk as long as I’m over 50 fury but if I set off a shout to gain berserking (while already berserk), I do not see the buff for fully berserk show up. I thought it was a random bug, but now I think maybe it does come from the talisman set Crucible. It is a pain because I lose it whenever I go to town so when I start a pit, for example, I have to twirl around or just wait and hope nothing elite jumps me until 60 secs have passed.

Thanks for asking this because I thought I was losing my mind or the game was bugging out. Probably little column A, little column B. Either way, it certainly is NOT clearly labeled in the game at all.
