Self found Iron Man mode,
and global chats.
I am a good boy and never get to see the bad boy drama in hardcore bad boy chat. Apparently it’s pretty juicy.
This would only equate to not being able to trade. That would be it. So if you don’t trade now, you’re pretty much set. They wouldn’t make it so you couldn’t group up with people or see them in the open world though.
Global chats have been asked for since before launch. 2 years later we’re still waiting.
It’s not an I don’t trade, it’s an I don’t cheat. It’s Organic vs GMO. 99.9999% of betrayer husks on SC were duped, and at least 90% of husks on HC were duped but also probably 99.99% (repeating, of course). It’s impossible to compete on D4 without accessing these materials, even a majority of runes and gems are “tainted.” Self found is essentially a skill and knowledge flex. I’m not for or against cheating, I think we have to learn to live with it. It just doesn’t feel like an expression of skill. I’d also be for group self found, where when you make a character you can only trade with up to 3 people you link with before level 10, so a group of friends could self find together.
I get that, I’m just saying in terms of how they would implement it, they would only disable trading at character creation. That’s all. Just like they do in WoW. The game isn’t designed to have a solo open world to yourself or to prevent you from grouping up.
There’s a handful of people who have asked for a SSF mode mind you, since before and after launch, there’s been no comment by the developers though. We do know they can completely disable trading though, as that has been done before. Now if they just make it an option on character creation you’d be set.
