If you find the game as a chore instead of having fun, this game must be not for you.
On me, I dont find them a chore. I am having fun doing stuffs. I know it’s enormous task to get all of them. But D4 just started few days ago. I have weeks, months, years to complete them… at my own pace.
I know eventually I would get tired of doing this over and over. That’s when I leave. But definitely. that’s not right now. I am still having a Blast at Nightmare difficulty,
I don’t like the micro tasks in every dungeon either it gets tiring and feels lazy. Just like seeing the same boss over and over again in multiple dungeons.
Yeah I got to level 50 and finished the campaign then basically lost interest. The story was extremely mediocre which is unfortunate because I would like to replay it but it was just so bland and boring I can’t bring myself to go through all the fetch quests and running from one part of the map to another all over again.
At least in D3 the story telling was great and I never really got sick of it but in this game I got sick of it after one playthrough I mean that’s pretty bad. There’s not really any late game content either so I guess I’ll just stop playing at this point at least until season 1 starts or a DLC comes out… Honestly feel like I over payed for this game in the long run, the combat is all right and can be entertaining but I wouldn’t exactly say I had lots of fun playing this game unfortunately…
For the bounties system you go to a location, you complete a task (kill a named enemy and some minions, complete an event, kill a boss etc etc), and that checks off one of the objectives. Get all 5 done in a given region, then go back to Tyrael and you get a chest with loot in it.
For the Tree of Whispers you go to a region, you complete tasks until you have 10 grim favors, then once you have 10, you go to the tree, turn in the favors and pick a box of loot as your reward.
Gloom, sadly there is a subset of forum posters that need to attack, pile on, insult and act superior to anyone with a different opinion than theirs. They feel emboldened even further when others join in.
Rather than simply ignoring the post or reading it and moving on, they cannot help but elevate their positions by beating down others.
This is also not defined by age. All ages have people that cannot go a day without belittling others to feel better than them.
If I was worked up as much as some posters here whenever I seen a differing viewpoint and lacked the self-control to not post condescending remarks, I would have to quit my job and spend all my time here being negative towards others.
Simply put, they cannot control themselves. To some, being negative towards others is a requirement for them to get through their day.
