I’m not asking for much … but if the Devs would allow ALL CLASSES the same access to ALL EYE COLORS + EYE DESIGNS … that would be very much appreciated. During the first Beta Weekend, I played all three available Classes (i.e. Barbarian, Rogue, Sorcerer). Visually, the Barbarian’s Incandescent Yellow Eyes still haunt me. I made a Barb that looked like Jason Momoa, but with those glowing yellow eyes … I still keep a photo of it on my phone
… anyway … Fast-forward to the second Beta Weekend. I played the other available Classes as well (i.e. Druid, Necromancer). Imagine my surprise when I saw the Necromancer’s eye color options: Teal + Vampire Red. Now, it’s not just the eye color, but the “whites” of the eyes have been replaced with a black color … it is totally creepy, totally cool, and I REALLY, REALLY want this eye color + eye design available for the other Classes as well, please, Devs.
PLEASE NOTE: During the Beta, each Class had their own unique eye glows for the iris: Barbarian had 'Incandescent Yellow" iris / Druid had “Incandescent Green” iris / Necromancer had “Teal” and “Vampire Red” iris, but the iris was surrounded by a black color instead of white / Rogue had “Incandescent Purple” iris / Sorcerer had “Incandescent White” iris.
I only played the barb and druid and both had the one incandescent option, kind of hoping there would be more like that, maybe red, blue, and the yellow/green at least. loved seeing them glow in dark cutscenes.

Exactly!
That first cutscene with your own Player Character … the one where you get to see your own Character’s face at night-time … Man, seeing your glowing eyes stare into the darkness after your mount meets an untimely end … [shudder] … still gives me chills!

I feel like eyes are the last thing they should worry about since that’s about the only time you’ll really see them.
It’s pretty amazing how weak and limited their character design platform is on a $70-100 game.
It’s 2023, they touted a robust character designer, and then delivered an extremely limited system. Some of the limitations, as you’re describing with eye color, are purely by choice.
Like really? You could have provided 3x as many eye colors for all the classes, but you instead decided that only barbs can have X eyes, and only necros can have Y eyes.
Who the hell is your art director and why is he still your art director?
I’d have been more happy if they just said “Yeah the character designer is pretty lame” because then their statement wouldn’t be a joke.
I thought the same thing: “SOOOO … WHY can’t these eye colors/designs be options for EVERY Character ?” It’s not like there is some vital character backstory behind these specific eye colors/designs.
every class has a unique glowing eyes option. All the normal eye colors are shared. That feels fine to me.
It is a good compromise between variety and class fantasy.
The hairstyles need a lot more work IMO. And we should be able to change everything about our appearance in the wardrobe, not just tattoos.
Game company tries to give each class their own tiny unique flair.
Players “Waaaaahhhh give me everything. I want it all!”
Yeah I’d prefer just being able to separate eyebrows from beards, nose rings from ear rings, and have better options for tanned skin colour
i didnt know that each had a different glow color, ty
Yeah, during the Beta, each Class had their own unique eye glows for the iris: Barbarian had 'Incandescent Yellow" iris / Druid had “Incandescent Green” iris / Necromancer had “Teal” and “Vampire Red” iris, but the iris was surrounded by a black color instead of white / Rogue had “Incandescent Purple” iris / Sorcerer had “Incandescent White” iris.
Each class also had 2 unique hairstyles that the other classes didn’t have.

honestly, all the hair was so poorly textured that I barely noticed the difference.
The beards were horrible.

Would be nice, but before eyes, they could allow all body types for all classes.
