Yeah, but is not fixed, as i said in another post, if blizz sell here for like $20 instead of $40 and sells double the copies they still make the same amout of money, and you might think that they woudnt sell double, but the trully would as many others have done.
to be fair they used to do this until players in other countries found out that they could exploit it and also get games / subs cheaper from blizzard.
used to be able to have like 3-4 Argentina wow subs for the price of 1.
You may not want to look at other countries for games you have paid for in the past then. Youāre going to be one angry customer, just saying.
Yeah, cause when you live in a bad country where the streets arenāt safe entertainment isnt an priority.
I learned that already from that thread⦠its fine, its just money. I wish everybody enough money to pay for their vessel expansion!
Yeah, but thats a VERY privileged position to be in also.
Go live in those countries, tell me how privileged they are.
Bro you are starting to play the victim here. Man up, earn money, leave brazil if its so bad and go for a glorious future!
Or are you really wasting your time complaining about things that wont change within your lifetime?
So easy to say⦠reality is different, very much so.
Please not! I do indeed feel privileged to be born in the first world and I dont want to have more people moving here! Because most have the attitude of OP, they think everything is easy and money falls from the sky here so they only demand.
I am sorry for the tough times but sadly that is not how business works.
Also, the word privileged is sooo overused and misused these days. I imagine that a person who is so poor that they canāt afford to play game, you would be considered āprivilegedā. To a person in a country who has no infrastructure for such things that most take for granted like water and sewer, we are all privileged.
Like I said, the word is overused imho.
Yes, reality is hard, but others have made it, there are tons of brazillian multimillionaires the difference is that they worked hard to acheive that.
I dont want to attack you but you really show what you are made of and I dont like that. Life can be hard everywhere.
I wish you all the best fren. Go out and conquer the world it is yours!
Isenāt that how those game code re-sellers make money?
Buy in a ādevelopingā country for cheap and then sell somewhere else for the normal price?
Blizzard is out of touch. A $99.00 expansion to get wings. There are some great games coming out in the fall. As much as I wanted the wings, Iāll have to pass.
That is not the problem of Blizzard.
Just because minimum wage in Brazil is low doesnt mean Brazilian D4 players can not pay for the price.
Business arent charities, its a mutual relationship. If the price is overpriced, you can walk away.
If you need help, you can raise a fund somewhere, I am sure kind people will donate towards your situation, but pricing mechanics is determined by Blizzard and I am sure they did their research.
I would donate towards anyone needing help in non first world countries. Although our minimum wage is higher than you, so does our cost of living FYI.
This is called economics.
If you sell a product at an inflated price on the market, then you will earn less in the end as the audience will narrow.
On the other hand, it is also possible for the majority of the population to gain a bad reputation (as a greedy seller), and ultimately lose the market completely.
Now about your statement. You yourself have shown the attitude of US citizens towards some countries that have not received the same development. That is, you are instilling a bad attitude towards yourself.
Not understanding other peopleās problems does not lead to better understanding of yours.
And donāt forget, your country buys a lot of things cheaply from Brazil.
Just wait a bit until its on sale. Or maybe steam allows geopricing. Bad blizz on this regard, really.
And all those other people here who do not understand and say things like: work harder, leave country. Boy, i pray that you all get to live like this one day. Like 0 clue about the real world, 0 clue about how hard it is, unreal. What a shame, education really missing. (its btw COMMON PRACTICE IN ECONOMY TO ADJUST PRICES, cant believe how uneducated you guys are, what a shame)
well, if i chose to spend my time here, its not wasted. as i decided to do it. however, you trying to insult me isnt that a waste of time?
anyway, you do you i guess⦠shrugs

NEVER pre-order. Itās never worth it, unless you are 100% sure, and even then it doesnāt make sense.
-
If youāre broke, wait for sale.
-
Blizzard may adjust the prices down the line. Did they adjust the price of D4 base game? If yes, they may also do it for the expansion.
Exactly. Thereās a difference between a āwantā and a āneed.ā
If it bothers you that much, start a GoFundMe and buy expansion copies for all the worldās poor and downtrodden.
