Well said. Defenders of d3 and D4.3 fail to understand things like this , they probably never touched D2 yet they keep yapping.
The funny thing is for me over the months i observed that more and more people started to realize how barebone D4 is compared to D2.
D2 may be old but it made so many things right that even today any studio that wants to make an Arpg goes back and takes notes from D2 eg like itemization , item modifiers , skill tree , elite monster skills and much more.
According to Rod D4 was to much like D2 and they had to shift towards d3 for the game own benefits but imho D4 has nothing close to D2 not even its atmosphere and im pretty much sure im not alone whos on this page.
