90% of your character power is acquired before paragon 250. 250+ grants very little power, certainly no power that’s needed to destroy every piece of content in the game. Players asked for more paragon grinding and Blizzard gave exactly that. Go play something else if your ego is shattered because you can’t reach a rather meaningless paragon level 300.

Wrong. By paragon 250 you have every glyph, legendary node, and nearly every rare node unlocked. Filthy casual. There are plenty of gameplay systems (nearly the entire game) catered towards casuals. Dedicated players can have one or two things for them too.

i had all legendary nodes and glyphs socketed before paragon 220.
No idea what that is. Sounds like you’re projecting here and that’s something you do, whatever that is. Not only are you wrong about what’s unlocked by paragon 250, but you’re also oddly upset and mad.
I even just looked up some build guides just for you. By 250, every glyph, legendary node, and all rare nodes are unlocked minus maybe 3 or 4, depending on the build. So yeah, that’s the vast majority of your power, if all your glyphs are maxed out, and the extra 50 points don’t make up “70% power” like you claim.

are you filling out every board based on a fully built out p300 guide before moving to the next board? i had all glyphs and legendary nodes sorted out by around p200. glyphs to 100 and hit a trillion damage by p220. at p240 now and just filling in random nodes on my boards because i have no desire to fully optimize multiple GA gear for a pit 150 push
Since I have Tyraels I already skipped a bunch of armor/resist nodes suggested in guides, but you should be getting all the associated magic/rare nodes that are influenced by the glyph area, as often each single magic/rare node can be 1/3 the benefit of a legendary node.
Either way you cut it, the difference between 200 and 300 is substantial.
And you can even tell if you run a T4 Dark Citadel with a bunch of 180-200s and people that are 230+. The former are getting one shot by boss abilities left and right, the latter are surviving even the melee from the first wing boss and melting the health bars in less than 4 seconds to skip phase.
I agree. I am busting my a$$ to get to 300. It’s sad to see someone getting 300 in 1hr. On the other hand, I expect nothing less lol.
Does it affect me? Yes, because instead of seeing Nerf Barb threads I am seeing threads like this. It does affect me because it is something I have to think about instead of thinking something else.
Wow, it takes me at least 1 to 2 hrs (I am being generous here) to move from 260+ to the next level.

you change your build up for 100% speed and just clear pit 69 in less than 1min. its the fastest way to get experience. the increase in experience on pushing higher pit tiers isnt worth it. just find a pit level above pit 65 you can clear in 60s consistently and you are golden
So running Pit 69 for example in 2 hours will net me 5 to 10 paragon levels?

For leveling I use a mix of Whisper and Abyssal Verge plus all the xp buffs from elixir, NM dungeon xp well, and incenses. I only do Pit for glyph leveling and testing builds btw
Yeah I am waiting for that but in the meantime I don’t mind grinding for XP because I am grinding for gear and gold anyway.
if you talking 50-60s a clear. then ya it could get you quite a few levels. its all about efficiency. me personally i couldnt do that boring grind like that. i do whispers and helltides and hordes with friends. im not worried about hitting 300 that fast. i know i will get it eventually, thats all that matters
