Evade is dead, but I hope Blizzard learned something from it

I went from playing the evade build to playing Quill Volley. I am so much more powerful now. Doing Pit 135 with ease, whereas I was only farming 110’s with evade.

But it’s not nearly as fun. My desire to play this build and continue to farm for another 100+ hours this season is basically nil.

Fast paced / spin to win builds are the most fun builds in the game, but Blizzard can’t seem to get out of their own way and just let us have fun. Twisting Blades. Whirlwind. Tornado Wolf. Ball Lightning. Dance of Knives. Lightning Spear. Evade / Stormfeather. Nerf nerf nerf.

Walking from pack to pack just isn’t that fun. Let us fly.

do runes go to stash? Cause youd just be running by them. I think those should auto-loot and go to stash like legndaries

Agreed. It’s so much more fun going fast. I don’t even care if I do 1/100th of the damage of Quill Volley. I just want to blast and zoom around.

Evade is not dead and still the best build for speed farming on spiritborn

That’s the thing. It wasn’t even the most powerful build. It was just fun because it was fast. It still is fast it just feels less fast which is :(.

Sure hope the bug fix helped those people…

I used the evade build to farm all my gold and mats. Sucks that they had to ruin a fun build for no real reason.

Go play barb or druid for a few days and then come back. That should make it feel fast again.

they just like to obliterate fun from the game … i actualy dont even have the patience to make a quill build its way too damn broken … and tbh the other classes are way too damn weak to bring you the dopamine that evade build had … was fast , clean , they say it lagged the server … the lag still there the crashes still there just in 2-3 hours ive sent over 21 errors Oo

It didn’t even lag until there were like 3 evade builds at Helltide Maiden…
This is typical Blizzard again. Can’t be that hard to compensate with some damage or maybe some aspect/unique power that increased travel distance with evade or something. We got nothing. And I farmed for a whole week making this build.

It’s not dead at all - stop being so dramatic. Look reasonably at why it was fixed.

Nah it’s dead. The movement speed was the only reason to play the build over Crushing Hand / Quill Volley. Now you move 1/5th as fast as you used to. Pointless to play it over the better alternatives.

Untrue I can still do everything I was able to do before the patch and it still moves faster the the other builds
