Basically this, I’m getting D3 flashbacks to when the launch team didn’t seem to understand basically anything about ARPG design. Sure, they haven’t misplaced multiple acts worth of gear, and the game fundamentally functions, but there are badly designed/broken/unimplemented systems all over, and the changes seem to be just screwing up the game further.
This isn’t even complicated, it’s a problem they specifically had to deal with in D3 - the playerbase wants high mob/elite density. This is a solved issue, so how are they screwing it up again?
was waiting for nerf, but they did in secret on this one nor do I see any buff to nightmare dungoens.
Moral of the story, never get behind the pack. You will have much harder time as they nerf every advantage those super hardcore uses. Less gold and progress for the those left behind.
I like that idea. I also think they need to increase the exp you get for killing mobs higher level than you so people actually have a reason to push nightmare dungeons.
If I’m killing mobs 10 levels higher than me I shouldn’t be getting the same exp as only killing mobs 3 levels higher than me, it’s dumb.
The xp requirement for each subsequent level after 70 is atrocious… They need to tweak the higher level content to yield more experience, as it should be the intended method for progression… Not wasting hours in a dirty cave farming like gremlins.
Was hoping for a Tuesday patch with something positive. None of the few end-game options feel good 70+. Surely they don’t plan to just nerf XP caves and let everyone crawl to 100 with dull lackluster options? Right guys?
It feels like there should be another world tier with a higher exp multiplier. Exp feels awful after 80, especially if you’re a solo player not abusing the 4 man dungeon split.
