I am lvl 185 spiritborn and have yet to find any gear that is mentioned as the best stuff. The fact i cant choose my temper or master work is crap. I get crap rolls alot, the grind is insane really wish they’d quit changing stuff so much and just make something that works and leave it at that. Still love the game but geez
Id prefer the gear being more focused than paragon as well. To add to what i read earlier
I was just agreeing with you. You’re the one who said the getting tto 300 paragon was pointless. Stand by your statements. Don’t flip flop at a moments notice.
I already have a job, I don’t need a another mindless grind of a job for the next couple months. The game should be fun, not a job.
- I should be experimenting with different builds and see power changes as I play with the build, (right now most classes have only one build that has any power if that).
- I should be seeing progress in the gear I find by pushing harder content and getting rewarded for it as I build my gear up to push.
- I should be able to min/max my builds how I want to.
I should not play this game so I can work grinding paragon. What is wrong with people who think video games should be a job?
so uhh… poe2 got delayed there bud
not even the first delay. I assume they just want their shills to advertise it a bit more here lmao.
When did I say it should be a job? I simply said like to the guy above you at 250-260 you’ve gotten the points for everything you need. I cleared the game at paragon 246 at the time. I don’t care to mindlessly grind to try and level up my paragon doing pit 110s. Either play an alt or don’t play like most chose not to play the rest of the season.
I am standing by my statement. The people who pushed for 300 did so just to say they have 300 same as in d2 the dudes who pushed for 99. By lvl 90 in that game you had everything required for builds and so do you here by 250. Getting to 300 is nothing more than showing you have 300 but barely does anything for your power. It’s there for those who want to chase it. It being there doesn’t affect you in any way, shape or form by not allowing you to do pit 150 on a SB. If you talk about the trash balance of other classes then that is a hindrance
Thank you the balance is really bad sucks that only meta builds r the only thing that can push ended game with ez different builds dont even work with multiple ubers its like when u guys make new uniques and they are not even worth using like for examples the unique that works with double swing cant even pass t3 with many builds or the new bleed uber cant past T3 ether didnt think it was going to get fixed sadly so deleted my barb…
there wont be any emergency campfire…
DEVS DONT LISTEN TO US…
they never will…
is that so hard to understand?
wait for POE2
My personal opinion about an overpowered class is this… i think its good. Many who play do not have the time or want to spend all their game time on one game. I am spent from hard physical labor amd many nights by the time im done with everything im so spent i just go to bed. Think of those with kids who work all day and only have a short amount of time to game after they get the kids to bed etc… i dont play all zoom zoom or in carry groups. One op class doesnt break the game. Its a choice to play its also a choice to build so its op. My spiritborn is a bit op but not even close to what i see in videos. What it has enabled me to do is get to near battlepass completion, and the achievements. So it benefits casual players. You may not like that some are super op and having an easier time with the content. But, its an option, you could do the same. If its jealousy, you probably should look inside and overcome that trait. Just consider the broad spectrum of players amd enjoy the game as it pleases you. Having time constraints is a disability in games with time limited content. If you want to push out people who stop playing or buying the battlepass, then keep demanding they nerf every seaons op class, but dont complain when the player base diminishes and less work can be put into content.
You see the problem is when they make something OP for you and people like you who are casuals that have lives with stuff to do. The people who have the time to do nothing but play video games will exploit it and ruin it for everyone else.
It’s great that you can get that “i beat the game” feeling with less than a 10th of the effort of anyone not crutching on that bugged mess. For everyone one of you there are 10 cringe lords ruining group content, trolling PvP, and generating trade/economy destroying amounts of gold. Those are all problems that affect other players, they affect you too if you think about it. The spirit born that dwarfs your damage makes it so you can’t afford to trade for gear or meaningfully participate in the group content you joined.
Those with kids who work all day have less time for video games and should absolutely be behind in videogames because of it. Giving you a hand up means giving the nerds something to break.
I view Tempering/Masterworking as a Risk/Reward sort of system. If a player wants to min/max his gears, simply increasing the gold cost per attempt is too easy in exchange for chasing min/max stats.
Bump
20 Characterssss
Incorrect those extra 50 levels serve a purpose they are there for people who want to have a grindy level bar that never goes away
Don’t blame me. It’s the goofball I was replying to who thought paragon 250-300 was useless.
I would player after 300. I’ve played seasons 1-5 maxed out paragon so why wouldn’t I played after 300 paragon. The GA system I suggest is an easy fix to add some sort of tangible progression progress that would require decision making due to the cost.
Paragon there is no real decision making as you now have all the points in the world to invest in everything.
As for the gear, they could making it more interesting but they choose no to for some reason. I have all sorts of ideas to fix the problem and so do so many others here in the community but we have no voice.
Tempering should be changed for sure. One idea would be that you choose from a list, so you get the affix you want but the % chance of effect varies. So you might choose between 5%-10% crit chance and get 8% for example … but you get your crit chance. It should be one roll per affix only but then they should get rid of GAs (or limit them to uniques), so the chance of another suitable tempering candidate (and so another chance at a better roll) being obtained quickly is practically a certainty. They should allow tempered items to be tradeable. So your next item might get a better roll but your build might be fine as is, so you decide to sell the better rolled one. This would solve a few issues but would have the (nice) side effect of countering the issues created by the build guides that virtually everyone seems to follow. I feel a lot of people get almost emotionally scarred over “bricked” items, when in fact they might’ve rolled a high chance of something really good during their attempt … but because it’s not the affix recommended in the build guide by some youtuber, it gets discounted. This would solve that, it would give value back to the millions of legendary items that rain from the sky and it would make the choice whether to salvage for an aspect or not a bit more interesting, at least in the short term until your new candidate drops. Those following builds could then have the option to trade for the perfectly tempered item for their maxtroll build if they so wish.
Having said that I’m sure there are strong arguments against it and I’m not a game developer, however I don’t think you need to be a chef to know when you’ve been served a plate of overcooked rubbery sinew.
let me guess? 3 wives and 12 kids too?
I suggest you just play the PTR, there’s a 1 click NPC that gave you everything.
Fyi, i put way more than 10% of effort into the game. I also complete games not beat them, so chest beater. I think my whole post went over your head. I had an opinion i trid to explain, its a game dont take it so serious. If cing hurts your game them block them. But if you wamt that no life grind go find another game. You have no empathy for peiple who love as adults. Am im touching one one aspect of the game . You obviously are not understanding that.
