The 1% plays your game for 25 years while the 99% play 1-2 seasons and never touch it again. Yea common sense would say to cater to the real audience yea?
Charismatic & comes from wealthy family.
He himself isn’t smart as he made one of the dumbest purchases in history. Hes a businessman who hires smart ppl to do stuff.
Maybe I’m wrong, maybe I’m not. But math is never wrong. If you’re selling MTX to 1% you will make less than selling MTX to 90%. The easier the game, the more “people” will play, not just gamers, but people. The casuals. The normies. The curious. And guess who has money? All those people.
Here’s Elon Musk agreeing with me.
This part gave me a chuckle. Its not you agreeing with Elon Musk, its Elon Musk agreeing with you!
This might be the most brain dead post I’ve seen on the internet in a decade. Congrats.
Elon is jackass. Screw that guy.
I agree. You’re wrong about the numbers. That’s what makes you wrong. As proven from my previous post citing actual data from steam charts.
I play D4 though the bnet launcher not steam. How do you get my data?
Aren’t Nightmare Dungeons/Greater Rifts suppose to offer exactly that for Group A? No real challenge, artificial difficulty. Insane amounts of easy mobs to mow down. Rinse and repeat. I’m totally fine to have this type of content in the game that targets this specific gameplay.
For Group B, they should make the overworld more scarce and dangerous. Make the gameplay exciting instead of a snoozfest.
Not interested in getting into the weeds on Elon. But it does crack me up that people are like.
“Sure, he’s the wealthiest man on the planet but obviously it’s because of all the advantages he was born into.”
Okay, necessary? Sure. But sufficient? Nah. Lots of people have similar advantages and ya know what? None of them are the wealthiest person on the planet.
Dunk on him all you want. I seriously don’t care. But if you are worth over 200 billion you are probably doing something right.
Can’t wait to see how beefy and SUPER HARD that dlc is going to be in classic From Software style
Yeah i agree with this. I think they both need to first communicate that’s the idea to help avoid set expectations for both groups, continue to build nightmare dungeons for the blasters and make overworld more… rotation sensitive. Doesn’t have to be difficult, but there should be some obvious advantage to not one buttoning the game (though it can be difficult if they want i dont mind).
Should acknowledge again alot of the season 2 changes have made everyone happy, so that’s good, we see them, and keep going.
Also, it becomes apparent the more you play that any difficulty in the current game you can gear / paragon out of… you’re almost forced to if you bother allocating your paragon points… something that isn’t simply a gear check would be better.
Yeah, I mean it’s unrealistic for them to expect players to be happy with a total homogenisation of the game.
As you said, they should acknowledge they have a type of player that just wants to blast with no thought in their mind and try to make a mode for them, without ruining the game for the rest of us.
For the rest of us, they should keep the rest of the game fun and exciting. Give the players choice. If the blasters don’t enjoy leveling up, they should give them the choice to start a character at max lvl the same way we can skip the campaign. Instead of making lvling completely trivial like they’ve done in S2. Same goes for respec.
Actually, the more I think of it the more I feel there should be a completely different mode for the rest of us, like Hardcore. Honestly, I don’t see any other way of doing it if they truly want to keep absolutely everyone happy.
Meanwhile the rest of the world continues to dunk on Elon for ruining Twitter and casually blowing tens of billions of dollars of his own supposed money
I work 11 hours a day and sometimes on call.
I like to play my videogames and not work for anything.
Elon will forever be remembered as the man who, for better or worse, ushered in the electric car era for earnest, as well as ignited the privately owned space exploration era.
The rest of the world won’t be remembered for anything.
When you can casually blow billions (alegedly) of your own money and not care, I call that a win, everything else mentioned above nonwithstanding.
ye someone should post a community note under that claim
Elon Musk is a complete idiot born into wealth that’s been covered in the blood of the innocent and helpless, trying his best to capitalize on other people’s ideas when they aren’t catching on fire through companies that steal wages from workers and wants to breed a race of rich white people to colonize a cluster of galaxies so far away you can’t see it with the naked eye.
This isn’t the “gotcha!” you think it is.
You went off the rails with your Steam charts tangent. I’m talking about D4 and why it’s easy. Easy brings in more people “to D4” and more people “in D4” means more money for Blizzard. Why hard games top the Steam charts doesn’t concern me in this regard.
Yeah exactly. Even having to walk steps in the game world, or to use the teleport scroll is depressing agony for blasters, so just give them a leaderboard, chat lobby, a dropdown to choose dungeons (that’s too much, even there should be a sensor reading their dopamine levels and choosing the best dungeon appropriately based on how cracked up they are) instant salvage and auto equipping of loot, and make them feel powerful. Just do it over there. And absolutely they should be given instant max level characters because they certainly don’t want to do it and keep asking for changes to make it go away as fast as possible.
I don’t even care because im not a blaster, blizzard can do what they want as long as the rest of the game moves towards being a game. Its only annoying when blizzard erase the game for blasters. Doing both is fine.
