For someone Is difficult ,for someone no.for me IT was Challenge a bit,but if know how to be tanky then IT Is ok .people just need think about defense
The problem is they don’t think, they copy paste.
I’m currently stuck against t-12 Mephisto. Was Able to do T-11.
Going to improve my gear or change to a different build that doesn’t require close contact with him.
Any build with minions that allow you to run around dodge his attacks while the minion melt his HP will have be good as well.
I like the first phase. The second is okay if you can kill him in a decent pace. The third phase despite it being visually impressive… I cant imagine how people can even do it without either deleting him in 5 seconds or just being immortal.
New community challenge:
Beat Mephisto on T12 with an Apocalypse/happy chainthrower build. ![]()
I tried this by accident because it did not switch back to T10 and spend 5 minutes of fighting in phase 1. I was able to delete 1/8 of his health bar until my concentration and healthdrinks went out.

Enduring Faith, life on Hit (GA if possible), barrier generation, fortify and a lot of damage reduction. Melee can stack resolve for example.
This should protect you enough to defeat him.
Decent damage is needed as well of course.
Change gear if needed. Maybe some Mephisto only gear?
Raging in a game like this guy, who wants to shred his keyboard is not a good sign. Addiction behaviour, if you do not get your candy.
Exactly. Maxroll builds Are for PiTS .they think DPS Is everything.if not ,then complaining that Have all gear And still geting one shot
I just had some barbarisns boost me.
Plenty prople offering free carry on the d4 discord

(but its more economically than throwing a joypad into the OLED TV)

Exactly that. Fine to have a challenge in the game. That could be the pinnacle fights with tough mechanics on T1x, or the tower push etc. Me, I don’t need to be able to defeat Mephisto or run tower 120.
But as a casual player, I definitely want to complete the season journey with relative ease… and locking the high lvl journey steps and rewards behind a high torment pinnacle fight is just a thing Blizzard can’t seem to get rid of.
Is this really what they think the majority of their paying playerbase prefers? Given how often ppl ask for Lilith or Mephisto carries in streamer chats, I’d guess it’s not.
Please, Blizzard… stop locking any part of the season journey behind excessively difficult thresholds.
Apparently they didn’t learn anything from Lilith’s poor design.
Yeah, this is the only viable route unless you wanna reroll and pick some busted build
If they had learned something,
They wouldn’t have undone all the progress and evolution of all past seasons to be a copy of PoE2 in loot and endgame.
I’m not complaining I can’t finish it in a week. I am complaining that I won’t be able to finish it all season.
(actually not even complaining. Just no motivation to continue working on it since I know I won’t finish it)
So your gear Is already Done 100% after one week ? So you know that Is not possible to improve more ?
Blizzard Employee One: Hey, look at all these awesome new skills we set up on a skill tree! Players are going to love using them!
Blizzard Employee Two: Hey, that just gave me an idea! Let’s make a boss fight where we take the skills off the players skill bar so they can’t use them!
I’ve killed him a few times on T10, one trick for phase 3 is as soon as you can move your character, run straight down to avoid the red wave, he won’t take your abilities away if you do that.
Yep, pretty much as done as it’s going to get. Pretty close to the point of too much grind for too little gain where I call the character done and move on.
really just sounds like a build problem, and not a boss problem. Perhaps not all content in every form is designed for every class.
I used immortal barb with selig and endurant faith. Just copied it, defeat it one time on T12 and moved on. I don’t give a damn. Not a big fan of trial and error games.
