Taking longer to level is a band aid for the no endgame problem. It does help a little. But it doesn’t completely heal the wound on its own.
You take longer to get to the “I have nothing to do” point.

Not that much of a problem, reduce progression rate to something more reasonable and then add proper tools for experimentation instead of exclusive upgrading (i.e. Paragon Sockets instead of MW and Glyph Leveling)
The whole “to do” is a wrong premise in the first place. We need things to “just happen” not us to turn them on over and over
THAT is the biggest “turn off” in the entire game (as far as I’m concerned) if you like
(at least sometimes) things should “just happen”, regardless if we like it or not - and not us to “turn them on” all the time
I’m fine with some people/players not realizing, I’m completely aggravated by devs or game directors not realizing
THE LAST THING D4 needs is another of those things “to do 500 times”, just slow it down, make progression rate and reward drop rate reasonable, and make things that “just happen” and surprise

That was when i created a fresh character and did the campaign. I switched and made a new one, skipped campaign and found whispers to be the fastest. Do 2 quick dungeons that give 5 each, turn in then poof, level or 2.
This is also due to no boost from season urns for exp. I only popped the 5% one available. The new season stuff looks cool…got a few of those…those powers are gonna be nice to use but they need to turn down Belial in the events down…for hard and below…basically 1 shots everyone and then the AOE you cant escape. Those that will play hardcore season 8, if you survive it, go get a beer.
It doesn’t suck because there isn’t one, when it takes the time of a few quests in most game to get max level, what early game is there? On the PTR it took me almost 5 hours to max now lol, it’s better but still way to fast

Early game is a problem because the entire journey is a problem. They have really bad issues with pacing. The entire game is warp speed and at least they are toning some of it down but they are also doing things which are questionable like unique GA losing the extra chance.
