Eaglehorn (Unique Bow)

Well Puncture does not do high dmg, so 150% imbue on Puncture to me sounds like it might not be enough value to give up any aspect I currently run. Rogue aspects are highly competitive and I don’t think this one makes the cut, imo. I could be wrong with all the poison boosts maybe it can be made good, I did try it for a bit it didn’t seem very impactful, but I also had a low roll on it.

for a 200% aspect.

Probably a lot of people here who are still at the low levels of nightmare dungeon keeps complaining that bows are trash and xbow are godly, making it seem higher tier pushing is impossible for bows.

But ive seen some videos clearing tier 100 nightmare using bow instead of xbow

Just saying…

Have seen all the trickshot splits from penshot can richochet, and the ricochets themselves can also split.

You give up the native vulnerable dmg, but it rolls with crit chance, physical damage, damage to elites, and vulnerable damage anyways.

At max upgrade you get:

60% dmg to distant
5.4 - 15% crit chance
31.5 - 52.5% physical dmg
21 - 42% vulnerable dmg
49.5 - 70.5% elite dmg
30-80% chance for richochets.

Its hardly trash from what I can see.

Yeah, today was the first time I logged in for a while and I played my 100 rogue.
With my poison imbued build (setup to try and take Lilith down), it was squishy enough before. Now it’s disgusting.

With the nerf you only get 21% at max lol. Who cares. Use whatever how you want now as a crossbow doesn’t matter anymore. Unless they change the patch back.

Looks bis for a pen shot build

The problem is that damage to distant is inferior to even a low vuln roll. I’m pretty sure all pen shot rogues run imbuements, so physical damage isn’t a good stat.
Crit chance is pretty good, not enough to be a deal breaker though because Precision gives you a lot of crits regardless.
Damage to elites goes into the main bucket, so while it can roll high it would be better if that was crit damage, dexterity, or vulnerable damage
The aspect is decent, but the problem is that by running it, you are giving up a 2H legendary aspect such as edgemasters. Edgemasters at max is a 40% multiplicative bonus to all your damage, incredibly valuable versus just a chance to have a shot ricochet, and not hit in an ideal position.

This is a general problem with uniques, and why most builds only run them if the aspect is very very good, the stats you lose and legendary aspect you lose are too valuable.
