How can anyone enjoy pvp right now with the current state of the game and 100% broken interactions like combo points on rogue?
I don’t know what you mean, I destroy all rogue builds.
Also, please read the post. The duel arena allows you to select which classes you accept duels from. If you simply can’t win against a rogue, you won’t need to fight them!
I did I said how can anyone enjoy pvp. I wasnt commenting on your idea. Your idea would not work as each player could just decide which hero has a adv against them and then counter it. All the top builds then would be waiting in queues forever. Idea is dead in the water. It takes some of the worst aspects of PVP and just magnifies them with selection.
Thats not true. I would accept challenges from any build in the game. You cant presume to know what every player thinks. Maybe you need some help with your pvp builds. I’d be happy to help.
Every player is going to play the system the best they can for the biggest advantage. This is what players do in pvp. IF you can choose to negate your biggest enemy in this duel system then that is what you will do. Just because you would design this duel system with an option to avoid classes and then not use it doesnt mean 99% of everyone else would. Its a bit weird to think of it like that and then say maybe I just need help with my pvp build.
Normalize gear and levels and have a fixed all class pvp paragon board with a max of 20 points then we can talk.
So I’m here to tell you that depending on the build, you need to be savvy enough about other builds to make adjustments. There are builds that pose different challenges for me, but all builds while they have their strengths, also have their weaknesses. I have gear swaps, skill swaps, and some glyphs I change depending on who I’m fighting. AGAIN, if PVP is you’re true end game, there are ways to overcome all battles with any class.
IN FACT, I’ve been thinking of an idea for this as well! 
Also, there is nothing wrong with just being the best in class… If you truly don’t like fighting certain classes, fight your own, and you can be the highest-ranked duelist in whatever class you choose. Problem solved!
I have several hundred pvp kills every week for all classes and all builds. There’s a way my friend. If you are getting one shotted by ANY build in S2, your life, DR, and barrier gen may not be where it needs to be. I have been killed by all classes and builds at least once and I have killed all classes and builds at least once.
So doing 1 duel can’t be used for ranking purposes but permanently skipping fighting a certain class is legit? Yeah that just lost all credibility. “I’m the best at PVP, as long as I don’t have to fight a Barb.” (or whatever class)
Your logic just is the only thing that lost credibility.
Think about this very carefully.
Like in real life, there are many different ways competitors get seperated… experience, age, weight, sex etc…
You don’t just see a free for all in every sport right?
Why doesn;t it make sense here?
You can compete against whoever you want OR just be the best in class…

Well, what you think you know and the truth are not always the same, so that’s ok. All the people I kill for my youtube videos, the thousands of kills I have, the countless videos all over youtube, the pvp discords and channels.
