Do people still do gauntlet?

Actually it is about how few are playing d4. But also because of 2 factors that most are overlooking.

  1. Most do not know there are caches since they not given out till the weekly reset and you would never know they even existed unless you revisited the place.
  2. Because most people do not think a couple legos and a useless unique are worth the effort to even walk down there since you can get 10 times that for porting to the helltide event for 30 minutes.
    And it is you people who are delusional if you think we even have 2 percent of the players who WANTED to play d4 before release.

I bet if they added:

  1. Boss summon materials to those caches people would definitely rush to be in Seal of the Worthy to get them.

  2. Decent amount of gold for being top 1,000, and more for top 100

Also, just looking at D4 on Steam alone their player numbers have ramped up more than ever before. I’d argue Season 4 is their most active season than perhaps season 1 or even preseason 1. Though I think so far out of all season ‘themes’ Season of Blood was probably the best so far (Zir is also a very cool boss design).

Yes, most players aren’t doing the gauntlet. There are a few who take it serious in the top 10.

Never done one, Items seem easier to get elsewhere.

Yeah honestly when they say ‘You get a cache full of legendaries’ I sit there confused and wonder… Do the devs even play their game? Legendaries mean almost nothing you get so many of them.

In fact, in this game the Uniques are the actual Legendaries.

Unless the cache says Legendaries with at least one GA each, then you have my attention.

I see no reason to waste my time with the gauntlet I couldn’t care less about any sort of leaderboard.

I had the impression that the trial would change every season,i think it should in some way. Since time limit seems to be the only way to make a leaderboard it is kind of limited to what they can do.

in Eternal is not available, I even do not know how it is since I never play seasons.

Something that simple should be on eternal,People that farmed up all those Unber Uniques in season play got something to do after season.

Lot checked out s4 they did not stay. Most of us that have stayed is because of the total lack of games.
And season of blood was best because it was the only one that had a midseason event that was not just some cosmetic or catch the noobs up event like march of the goblns.

I didn’t do it the first week, but I did it the second week, and I’ve been forgetting to do it the third week. Each time I come to the forums and see this post I think “oh yeah, I should do that”. Then I forget it until the next time I visit the forums. :grin:

I did it once when it came out then never did it again. It’s not fun to me so I just avoid it.

Yeah its a fun mini-game.

I usually do it to the fourth seal and then done. Don’t try to place on the leaderboard.

It not really a progression activitely so not incentivized.

I have never once done the gauntlet, the concept is of zero interest to me. It is good that it exists for those who want it, but I expect that there are many people like me who don’t touch it.

Not rewarding enough. I did it once… got some cache with 2 yellows in it. Yawned and never even considered doing it again.

Meanwhile I can do 3-4 blood maiden in that time getting a full inventory with legendaries.

Leaderboards tho I truely don’t care about. Far to much work for nothing.
