That would have a lot to do with the game being brand new (just a few months ago). When games fail you see droves of positive people magically vanish. This forum used to be full of threads with posts within the last ten minutes. Now you don’t have to scroll to get to one hour. It went from Twitch chat to a place where you can actually have a conversation.
However, people like this do exist.
There are things to be done. The issue is one of mindset.
That’s the mindset I’m referring to right there. Can you imagine a developer or designer being this simple-minded?
Agreed. A person can spot that just looking from afar. Yet Blizzard neither had the impulse itself to advance the genre nor did it feel any inspiration or apparent discomfort. So it took them several years to release a new old game that has fallen on its face. Many people think it’s as simple as itemization, like a facsimile of Diablo II would be an astonishing success. Very naive imo.
