Played to level 50, the full campaign…and dropped 2!!!

They drop in all cellars once you reach upgrade level. Don’t skip a cellar. I did not see them anywhere else. I had 5 drop from 1 cellar chest, twice. My party was angry and I can’t share them. lol

Im just here to say i had this exact issue in both betas and the server rush. This is insane that its not fixed come on all ready.

This has been a bug for ages, would be nice if it was acknowledged. I’m leveling with 2 other people and they both received 10+ to my 0, doing the exact same content. Then I farmed for an hour+ alone and got 1, doing werewolves/beasts the entire time. This is ridiculous. Now 42 with 1 and level 20 potions.

I have been grinding for them since level 30. I am now level 35. It’s been 4 hours. I haven’t seen a single one.

Why is this early game basic upgrade gated behind an item with such a rare spawn rate that I’ll be needing my level 45 upgrade before I find them? That is asinine.

I am not sure that they are rare, so much as they come from doing side content like cellars. If someone is power leveling or only doing the main quest line, they might not get them just naturally by playing.

Haha, no power leveling or speed running here. Literally focused grinding targeting these bones for the last 4+ hours.

Something is wrong with them. I am not alone either.

Also, for what it’s worth, I already have enough materials to upgrade the level 45 and level 60 potion twice over each.

Can this be fixed please? I’m level 50 and been stuck on 4 bones since i looked at upgrading my pots at level 20

the game has now become unplayable in world tier 3 because my potions cannot progress and I’m stuck running around pressing 7 globals of level 20 pots trying to live through the damage of what should be one pots worth

I got grave dust there. I know it’s RNG but yeah I only have 2 which means I can’t progress my potion levelling.

The drop rate may be a bit low at the moment given this isn’t some end game nice to have, ultimate item I should spend weeks farming, It’s a level 30 potion charge and gatewaying players to hard for that is just frustrating, not rewarding

this was a problem since closed beta, I made feedback specifically about this, still the same.

I am 43lvl, doing 100% of Fractured peaks on a T2 world, still in act 1. I am doing every cellar, quest and event. I am stuck on 3 bones.
This is just a bad design.

Killed some elite just a few minutes ago in Scosglen that dropped 5 of them.

If you aren’t getting any drops in the location you are farming, then maybe it’s time to change locations.

But I have seen a fair amount of crushed beast bones drop from werewolves, bears, wolves.

This sounds like the lead up to a very frightening riddle

This is the crap that Blizz does to kill their games. I have tried farming these and gave up after several hours (ware type creatures which are supposed to drop them). If it prohibits me progressing the game, then I will simply find another game to play. These type of gates kill games imo.

I’ve been trying to get beast bones for 2 days now… Havent gotten a single one… tons of leather though.

This is frustrating

Hey ZoiN,

I can confirm that running the flooded mine cellar that was mentioned earlier (Do crushed beast bones exist? - #12 by MissCheetah-1661) does work. If you don’t get it the first try, just stand outside for a minute or two and let the cellar reset then go back in and run it again. Took me 3 tries but the chest dropped 5 bones.

Thank you, this helped! I’ve been killing beats for hours and gotten 0 Crushed Beast Bones. Ran this dungeon filled with undead twice and got 3 from the reward chest. I guess Blizzard cannot read their own text saying these drop from beasts…

I’ve been killing stuff for days trying to get these. Flooded mine cellar, first time through, dropped 5 from the chest. Thank you!

I’m pretty sure they don’t start dropping until the act 3 zone, except rarely out of chests.

My wife and I saw precisely zero drop from enemies until we hit the steppes, then after the steppes they started dropping fairly regularly.
