After having this issue since the patch I decided to uninstall and move my install directory to my C drive which is on an ssd. So far this has stopped the disconnects and slow load screens.

I have slowed my problem with disconnects. STOP using RAZOR ORNATA gaming mode with my keyboard and mouse. My disconnects have slow for the day, too Zero. Will update in a couple of days if its still at Zero.

Changing the internet doesn’t help either! I even try to share the Internet from my phone, no improvement!

I had a similar problem in season one. Then it only happened with Kyovashad or porting to dungeons. Now it happens on every single frikkin teleport and it is so annoying. It drops elixer buffs it can make your keys invalid…
It’s ridiculous.
Needs a fix.

Hey guys, I can confirm that actual fix was reinstalling the game to SSD. After that the DCs stoped.
Nope, I did everything from A to Z. The SSD I got in my Steam Deck is even Faster than my PC SSD, my PC does not have this Issue only Happening for Steam Deck.
I also have this problem. Just bought the game. In the prologue I didn’t have this issue, however, as soon as I hit Kyovashid and start regular quest. I am unable to return to town via TP without DC. The same with Exiting dungeons. I need to move game to SSD I guess, but wtf…

Same here, almost everytime I teleport outside of a dungeon or to any place in the map I get disconnected. I lose all potions effects too, it is so frustrating. No response from customer support either, gj blizz
We just been solving this issue with friend since yd and tried everything above but helped update of gpu driver.
I also have same problem.I thought it was a Steam-specific issue, but it seems that’s not the case. Upgrading the GPU driver didn’t help.
Can confirm migrating my game to an SSD hard drive fixed this issue for me.
Was there any other fixes to this beyond migrating to a SSD? I’ve only ever been on a m.2 hard drive and it disconnects for me the majority of the time. I just bought D4 last week so would had been a totally fresh install. From Blizzard and not from Steam.

I reluctantly bought an SSD yesterday just to play this game, as the general consensus says that is the reason for the disconnects.
I reinstalled the game onto my new SSD M.2 drive… and first day playing for maybe 5 hours, only had 2 disconnects. Better than the EVERY SINGLE TP… However, today I am getting disconnects constantly when TPing.
Have the Devs even acknowledged the issues? Is there a fix incoming?

One year after, problem persist… You gotta be determined to not work on these, Blizzard.

It’s still a problem, I’m playing the PTR and it’s DC city if I’m luck I can play for 30-40min but mostly I get 5-10min before a Lockup or Disconnection.
