Still having issues on 1.4.3.54876 on PC… yet, I have no issues on PS5… Same network et al… I’ve been playing this game on PC since the Pre-launch betas and it has never been this bad. They royally screwed PC users this season.

This suddenly started happening to me after never really having issues since launch. I will be playing and then a random disconnection from server. It even takes out my ethernet connection on my PC for about a minute, but nothing else on my network gets affected (other devices connected over WiFi). Then if I log back in too soon it will say my character is busy and boot me right out of the game. This has been happening for about a week and today I got the 30001 code when trying to log back in. 800mbps internet with no other network issues and unlimited data plan. PC specs to follow:
ASUS Rog Strix z790 H-Gaming
Intel i5 13600k
RTX 4080
G.Skill DDR5 6000mhz
Using m.2 SSD for game storage and excellent cooling with temps never going above 60 degrees. Game runs flawlessly up to this beginning to happen. Any word on a fix for this error that has been introduced in this latest season?
What else changed on your system? They may be on the same network but they’re obviously separate systems so it only rules out your router as the issue and not your PC. Wouldn’t be the first time a windows update caused issues with network cards.
it’s likely a memory issue. Set priority to high helps. Also, disabling cross platform play helps.
It only happens to me after exiting the pit to cerrigar.
Nothing else on the system changed and no memory issues, also have plenty at 64gb. However, I did a file integrity scan and also saw two separate updates for Diablo 4 that I downloaded last night and have not had a single disconnect since. Looks like they may have fixed it on their end.
Update on my situation: Now on V 1.4.3.54876… It still takes a long time to log into the game for the first time, but nowhere near as long as it was taking on the previous season 4 patches. I still disconnect, but the frequency seems to have gone down and most of the time now it brings me back to the char select menu instead of crashing out the entire game. To answer other posters: My issues started occurring after the first or 2nd patch of season 4, prior to that I never had any issues logging in and rarely got disconnected when teleporting. If there were any other under the radar windows updates at that time on my system, I am unaware of them. And really don’t think that was/is the issue, because things started to improve right after their recent maintainence event about a week ago now.
