Did we really "fix" mogging items?

you could before today 7/10/2024 put transmogs using the wardrobe on items like making your mace/sword look like two 1h axes or whatever you wanted. was a “bug” sure but was nice being able to make my character look the way i wanted without certain item walls disrupting a specific look. now its back to having to actually use the weapon type to have use a look which is really just annoying and stupid imo. just give the people what they want on these small quality of life things. again its dumb this was reverted for no reason other than being a karen about it. thanks.

You almost had me until that part. Clearly the only reason to get rid of a bug is because they are being Karen’s, and not trying to actually fix things. This too shall pass.

yeah you would take lets say two 1h swords, mog them, then drag them onto whatever 1h you had in your inventory to swap and it’d keep the look lol

i actually have my 2 1handed swords xmog’d to 1 mace and 1 axe on my barb lol - ill have to log him in later today and check it out haha

yeah was more of a rant. and its a system that should be in the game anyways as it was in D3. the fact this game is lacking something a 10+ year old game could produce is just stupid.

in retail wow (pandaexpress - the SoD temp version of retail) you can xmog alll weapons into any weapons. I xmogged my axe and claw into 2 swords, its just a nice subtley feature that really should be in the game, agreed

Or they could have made this an official feature. WoW lets you do this with weapons of the same classification (2h > 2h, 1h > 1h, etc.). You can even make daggers look like swords. The animations are governed by the swing timer, which is based on your attack speed. There is literally zero reason we can’t have this in D4. There are wands that look better than most swords and vice versa for instance.

It’d give us more options at least. I mean, it’d be better than things like constant staff skins being released with armor packs for sorcerer when almost nobody runs with a staff.
