Did not get recipe of invoker of Varshan after completed the campaign

I have done the whole quest again in Tier I with a new character, and even so, he hasn’t given me the bloody recipe either.

Same problem here, i have the higher level recipe and no way to create the one before it to make the invoker of varshan. This should be easy to fix and being that this season is on a timer we are losing a pretty significant piece of the season until its resolved.

The storyline isn’t clear about how to get the Foul Invoker of Varshan. You need to kill Varshan in a tunnel with the Invoker of Varshan. The tumor to summon him is located in specific tunnels where after completing the tunnel objective there is a wooden gate that unlocks. (Malignant tunnel just west of Backwater in Hawezar has one.) Do this in tier 2 and he will drop the recipe for Foul Invoker of Varshan.

Wrong answer. We already know how to get the FOUL invoker of Varshan. The recipe calls for using a BASE invoker of Varshan. In the storyline you mentioned, you get ONE BASE invoker of Varshan, which you have to use to invoke Varshan. That invoker is gone. To make a FOUL invoker, you need to first make a BASE invoker. That needs a BASE recipe. That is the item I missed getting. In my specific case my inventory was full at that point, so I never got the stash reward after getting rid of Varshan. The recipe for the BASE invoker was therefore gone forever. Only way I got it again was creating an alternate character, and doing the whole storyline again.

So you are saying to make sure you have inventory space when you are doing this quest?

That is what happened to me. Had the lost reward stash been put into my main chest to grab when in town, the issue would have been resolved without having to re roll a new character and doing the questline a second time.

I think the quest reward is way too complicated to get as designed. The best solution would be to have the workbench allow you to create a base Invoker of Varshan when you kill him at the end of the Season 1 quest. Picking up the dropped Invoker of Varshan, opening the quest reward stash, and then reading the recipe are totally supefluous steps. Even if you walk away without picking up the Invoker of Varshan, you should be able to make more. Same with the Foul Invoker of Varshan. The recipe should automatically be added to the workbench after you have killed him again. There should be no need to pick up the dopped recipe and read it.
