I own the full game and the expansion; I can still play my older characters. However, when I create a new character and around level 25, I get hit with an error message claiming my free trial has ended. I own both the base game and the expansion. Please help.
Same on PS5. Any solutions?
Same issue with PS5 Pro. I own both the ultimate version for base game and ultimate version for expansion… but it still says I’m using a trial version of the game and keeps asking me to buy it, in order to keep playing.
Same on xbox console. I have a 174 paragon Sorcerer I can’t play due to it telling me the trial ended and prompting me to by the expansion. But I OWN the expansion.
Same on Steam Deck. I own the base game and VoH DLC, but it says “Trial Active” on the main menu
Having the same issue on PC. Has anyone managed to get this fixed?
I feel like I have tried everything. I verified my files, uninstalled then reinstalled… even adjusted the downloaded DLC files. Nothing is working. I am banging my head against the wall.
Feels like posting on the forums for help is pretty pointless. I went ahead and opened a ticket for a refund at this point. I don’t use X/Twitter, so not sure if that’s a better way to reach support, but this is super frustrating.
For anyone else experiencing this issue (I am on xbox): after several times reopening my ticket to tell them it still wasn’t working, they did finally fix it… * sort of *. My Game Pass subscription on Battle.net was showing inactive, and they changed that so it now says it’s Active. I’m not sure if that’s all they did, but that’s what I could see that changed. After that, when I log in, it still comes up with the red screen and “trial active” in the corner. When I select my character, I still get the popup prompting me to buy the expansion. However, when I click “Buy Now”, enter my password, then close out if it from the payment screen, it now comes back to the normal green VoH screen and I am able to play (when I tried that before the Game Pass change, it just came back to the red screen and I was still screwed). So, it sucks having to take those extra steps every time, to go into the Buy Now area and close out, but at least I get to play (for now). Not sure if this is the same for other platforms.
Thanks for that i tried that and it worked but here’s the thing i play on steam
and as soon as the i clicked buy now
it said
“This will open a new browser and take you to a new webpage”
i clicked cancel
and it after about 2 secs my account became active again
i’ve tried this 3 times now
i’m not sure about other platforms but at least on steam
i don’t think you need to enter your password
you just need to click the buy now button and when it say this will open another browser press cancel and it should work
much shorter and much more manageable
