The pacing of the final season was definitely off, but there were so many indicators in the prior seasons that Danni’s psyche was being chipped away at for a long time before that moment.

It needed buildup. She needs to feel pressure until she cracks completely and we need to see her become more and more unhinged on the regular.
That never happened. It was rushed.

reading iggi reminds me of the wow forums post cataclysm, when “everyone” was clamoring that pandas werer the most request thing in WoW, and after launch taht expansion bled players from day 1 to finish to the point that they stopped reporting sub numbers

tbh, the show was not good anymore after s5. s6 and s7 was somehow watchable, and s8 was hot garbage. And i was a a fan of the books way before the show. Think that was the point where those 2 jerks starting to butcher it with more ideas of their own, that made no sense anymore.
Books way superior to the show, not worth comparing IMO, too much cut or character arcs deformed… but unlike most (vocal) opinion online, I thought the later seasons were better than the early ones. I suppose I liked the increased action. 
I did binge the whole show however (first watch), which probably nobody else did.

I did. I tend to adapt to times better than being stack on 1995 i guess. I like this music, i like this game, i used to make money out of music compilations and this result is of my taste. Same as any Bungie trailer. Its not like it was RNB music on a Japanese themed Assassins Creed(

GoT last season was a complete wreck and ruined the series for me. Everything about it had 0 thought put into it. That an undead nightwalker boss could be defeated with some sort of special knife drop move is utterly rediculous. This should have been something much more epic in nature. They needed another full season to flesh it all out. What a tragedy.
