It is clear that Blizzard listens to players’ voices and sees that their game needs more and more varied end-game activity.
The item changes presented at Campfire Chat promise to be exciting.
I’m so glad that Last Epoch set a new standard in the ARPG genre, and Blizzard is happy to take advantage of it.
A game for a beginner, but with depth of systems within it?
YES, go in that direction. Good Job!
it is hard to say if the ideas were borrowed from LE or not but doesn’t matter in the industry no one idea is unique, everyone borrow from each other. The pit idea I think came from D3 Greater Rift though, that is by Blizz own design. (and thank god it is nothing like AoZ)
Yep, this was the right move for them 100%. Of course it all comes down to implementation. Poor implementation could completely ruin what sounds good on paper.
For instance, if you can’t farm efficiently unless you’re doing insane gg gear level stuff. There should be diminishing returns on rarity chances going up the more harder content becomes hard. If they make a vast chasm between those doing the absolute hardest content and those doing pretty hard content, the game will still fail.
Actually I don’t see it…Diablo 4 so far has been the worst game in a decade and they’ll have to prove it’s been improved, If they’ve really improved{doubtful} Seeing is believing
Does not change the fact that their system is 1/10 of the one in LE, and i paid 3x the price nearly including early access… Buzzard is done, D4 endgame doesn’t change, its like an old woman breathing out. No i aint paying 70$ for another expansion, either they fix their crap by adding another endgame system to the game in S4, that is on par with PoE / which budget wise should BE MORE than possible in a year, or i aint gonna step another foot inside this pile of mud… Honestly dissapointed in Buzzard, played their games for 20 years.
100 pinnacle bosses, 700 unique items, new endgame system maybe we could become friends again. And no with such a budget this kind of stuff should take less than a month honestly, 5000 employees - this took PoE a couple of years with 10-20 employees.
Yeah I know you and the other 100 D4 Fanboi’s love saying D3 was and your right It WAS Past tense D4 easily stole that title how you ask? D3’s Dev’s improved it’s Class skills, Itemization, Gameplay, So will D4’s Dev’s do the same? Juries still out on that. And they’d have to do a lot for me to want to play the Rogue where it’s at now so…
