After locations is turned on make sure you do a time sync and have your time set automatically so it matches current location if your time isnt on auto and it is different even by 10 mins from local time timers will not work

my time is gmt+3 i put it on auto and its gmt+2 i dunno how to changed it cuz when i click auto it resets gmt+2 -_-

I see streamers killing the boss while it is not even showing up on my map at all. So it is not an issue of me mistaking time zones or anything like that. I rant to the location and there were a lot of people just like me just standing there getting no boss to spawn.

The best way to alleviate missing it honestly is just have a discord bot to tell you when and where it is spawning because i miss them when im in nightmare dungeons not paying attention lol the notification system in my opinion needs some work the events are so easy to miss

Hey guys it was fixed for me as well. On your PC go to date and time settings. Then do these steps and itll work:

  • Set time automatically to “On”
  • Adjust daylight savings time automatically to “On”
  • 4th option down on WIN10, additional settings on WIN11 press “Sync now”

Hopefully this works for you all!

Make sure to have Tree of Whispers enabled on map filter, as sometimes the events are classed as TOW event!

this was my problem. Open Map… hit F… make sure they are all checked.

has anyone found some other cause for this? im able to see legion events and some others but not world bosses, i believe im passed all the requirements. i checked the time settings and the game time and my local time do match.

any suggestion is more than welcome.

i was just on my druid on t4 and saw the world boss was about to spawn in 12 minutes and thought im gonna do him on my mage also on t4. but after logging on my mage the world boss was not showing up there or anywhere else. so i logged back on my druid and he was there again. am i forgetting something there?

Same was on my necro showed world boss up.
But not on my rogue when I logged in and my rogue has finished main campaign and is on tier3 at the moment I don’t understand what makes World boss icons showing or not.

all has to do with your timezone and fixing it on ur computer. worked for me as well.

Same issue here, time and date settings are correct.

Trash game in general. Full of bugs.

Also, why are there controller options for my PC in the menu?

What does “fixing it” mean?

All is in order, unfortunately this fix doesn’t work for me.

Not sure what you mean by “day light savings” as I am unable to adujst that option.

Never had this issue with any game ever.

Thank you finally someone said it, my PC has them checked, I left on a trip and my laptop for some reason had them all unchecked and I didn’t even realize there was a filter. Was driving me crazy I was syncing my time for fkn hours… Cheers!

Everything is synced and correct, I can see the helltides, I can see the timer for legion and world boss events. However I cannot see legion or world boss events on the map. I have to use third party websites to see the location. I am starting to think this has nothing to do with our computers and more so to do with Blizzards servers. I used to be able to see all events but now only helltides.

Gang I was having the same problem and yes my clock settings were correct. But for some weird reason my time was off by 2 minutes even though it was set to auto time. My son was on his computer next to me and his was working but our times were different by 2 minutes. All I did was set time manually, saved. Then when back in to clock settings and clicked auto time again, saved. Now my clock matches my son’s computer and everything works now in D4.
