Always nice to see BG3 get the praise it deserved.
That game got some issues imo, but overall it is still good.
Not that it matters, but:
D4 was just nominated, picked by the people running the event, it is not a runners-up. Can’t conclude how many votes it got merely from it being nominated.
There are thousands of GOTY awards around the world. This is one of them.
(And yes, alongside TGA, one of the bigger ones)
Well, afaik some outlets have rewards for “Most disappointing game” etc.
