sounds awesome, but i dont like ice sorcs too much, now try playing a fire sorc or lightning sorc.
and dont get in melee range, you are a caster, so fulfill the caster fantasy of hanging back and killing stuff with fire before they get to you.

I have a Monk, Wizard, Barb, and Crusader on D3 and they all hit in the Billions. Yes, damage numbers have a B after them. I’m around 2700 paragon or higher which is at minimum 2630 levels higher than 70. They should consider bringing rifts and Kania’s cube to D4. And i wish we had pets to gold snag for us. Rifts created a real end game. And they should add Rifts plus 2 or 3 more real elements that let you endlessley pursue power. I left D3 until they cleared out the AH then came back to a decent game. They can fix D4… they have the resources and it isnt too late. They need to start listening to what we say the classes should do example Bard and Scorcerer. We arent developers but we are the ones playing them for hours on end so we know how they SHOULD perform. Nightmare dungeons for glyph leveling and other stuff for endless grinding of power.

I just want my money back, but they won’t give it to me. I’m not going to play an MMO. I guess I’ll just wait for PoE2 to come out. It’s free, so I can trying and if I don’t like it, I lost nothing.

Build that strawman to argue against. No one is saying in this thread Sorc in D4 is hard. They are saying Wizards in D3 had a greater depth and range in abilities. Everyone and their grandmothers know with the right gear, you can draw in the mobs (Teleport) and frost nova them and then blow them up. That is why practically every darn D4 Sorc has the same basic abilities, with only 1 or 2 differences. Practically every, and I mean every, D4 sorc has Frost Nova+Flame Shield+Teleport. Most even have the fourth ability, Ice Armor.
Wizards actually could be totally different from each other, with maybe even Teleport being the only ability shared between them. It also helped that even if you shared an ability with each other, you could still be different by having alternative runes activated. D4 only gave you two alternative settings for a single skill while D3 had 5 settings per skill.
D3 Wizard abilities were just more varied & interesting than D4 Sorcerers. The base they work from are perhaps the same, but D3 definitely did more with its version of that same base than D4 is doing.

Comparing Gandalf and Willow is obviously intended to involve power scaling. D4 Sorcs don’t have a power level problem outside of bossing with a non-bossing build.

Gandalf was a 5th level wizard at best. Gandalf nor Willow would survive Diablo 4, so it was a silly comparison to even make.
Choosing the most silly point made to argue against is a tactic people use when they don’t want to argue against the more valid points of others. The vast majority here are talking about the breadth and depth of the skills between the two versions. So your generalized statement, “I’m starting to think a lot of you guys are just not good as the game.”, should have been directed to just that one person who made that silly comparison.
The original immortal archon build was so much fun. Way more fun than any build D4 has to offer.

yeah my level 25 sorc feels so lacking, not.
crackling orbs aoe, firewalls, frost , lightnings going all over my screen, yeah , i sure so miss my time bubble, 
D:IV is a knee jerk reaction to complaints about Diablo 3.
- you cried about dependency on sets; no sets in D:IV
- you cried about the graphics in Diablo 3; now we get a grey-filtered brown-tinged turd where everything looks homogenous
- you cried about infinite paragon leveling; back to a level 100 cap we go…
- you cried about rare items having no value; now everything depends on rare items
- you cried about the timed GR loop; congrats, here’s pointless Nightmare Dungeons to bore you to death with no leaderboard
- you cried about the speed that good players were able to achieve in Diablo 3; here is a game that is purposefully slowed down

I think both are wrong, but historically D3 is like the phantom menace of star wars.
