Devs promised they'd put power back into the classes and not items...that was untrue

I bet you’ve never played d2 and never seen the variety of builds it has. For example, you can make an energy shield sorceress by putting your points into energy. You can put dexterity to block on some classes. I’ve seen some charge paladin with high str build, etc. It’s not just putting all the points into vitality all the time. You can make whatever you want just need to have imagination. Now when it comes to the D4, according to the maxroll guide, it says that Diablo IV would have an attribute point allocation system (which never existed in this beta), in this system, depending on the chosen attribute, it would increases either damage or some resistance, which is interesting idea, but Blizzard is a liar company and this was not implemented in the game, reducing the creativity of the builds. This game is very shallow, you can’t do ANYTHING without your items, because of this concept of improving a skill through a legendary item. In Diablo II, we have a much better system, items serve to improve the character as a whole and you don’t depend on dropping X item to improve Y skill. In Diablo II, the item will improve your character as a whole and not a skill, with any item if you set up a decent build you can deal damage. In Diablo IV, which is the same as the Diablo III system, you can have the item, but if it is not for a specific skill, it is useless to you and will not improve your performance at all, it is the same thing as not equip nothing.
