Devs opinion about weak sorc after ptr 2.1?

As someone who put close to 80 hours into PTR i can say that:

1. sorc is amazing for leveling - practically any build you can think of is fun and effective
2. Sorcs struggle a bit in torment tiers - only a few builds are very effective
3. sorc is garbage for the pit - the only thing left is shatter which is difficult and not fun to play

There are several posts in PTR feedback addressing sorcs. If you are concerned i suggest giving them a read and sharing your 2 cents if you can.

Chain Lightning/Lightning Spear sorc feedback

I had initially hoped to test my current build from Live, update it for the new skill and paragon changes, try adding the new seasonal powers, try swapping out some gear/stats to further optimize it, and maybe even try out some other builds I was interested in, like Ball Lightning. Five builds played, my feedback

I have tried 5 builds in the PTR: 1-Barb - Earthquake/Hammer build by Rob 2-Sorc - Ball Lightning Author, not sure 3- Necro - Spirit Wave by Rob 4- SpiritBorne - Quill Volley By Rob 5-Spiritborne - RazorWings by Rob When I look at builds, I expect them to at least do a Tier 105. Why? Because this is what it would take to level up your glyphs to 100 within a season. I first tried the Barb build as I love Barb builds, but was truly disappointed in this. Sorceress Feedback Season 7 PTR

Hi, I tested different Sorc builds on the PTR and would like to give my Feedback: It is painfully obvious what we already knew in the last 2 Seasons, Sorc Core-Skills are severely lacking in scaling mechanisms, the only “good” once we had were Devouring Blaze and Splintering (which even synergize) and Conj Mastery. Random Musings of a Mad Horadrim - Also PTR and Sorc Feedback

I would like to lead off with the single most important conclusion I have from playing many sorcerer builds in the PTR: If you have to do pit 100 to complete Glyph leveling, then every class should have access to a build for each main skill path that is capable of doing this with equipment that it is reasonable to acquire in a season.
