They added some of the vampire powers as legendary aspects. I’m sure they may do the same here. The issue with that is aspect bloating. It becomes so much harder to find the aspect you want, let alone an upgrade.

I wish they kept some stuff like gems/hearts and opals in the game in the future. Like you said, seems like a waste to implement decent systems and have to refill the gap every time rather than just keep building on top of decent ideas.

It’s already been mentioned ( can’t remember where) that Seasonal content does get used as a glorified testing ground, keeping what is popular or what worked well.

It makes things so much easier to digest if you keep in mind that a live service game is a perpetual beta

I liked vaults and they are completely gone… great.

Tbh the Vaults was a good idea.

Malphas and his vaults will never be again a part of the game i think, because how desastrous was the S3 and the Gauntlet…

I thought some vault mechanics will make into Dark Citadel but I haven’t seen any of them, maybe Labyrinth of Souls has them but they make 0 dmg.

I think it’s Malphas Lair who as served as Dark Citadel testing ground.

Because of the possibilities to spread your group if you want to go faster.

Alone it was more loooooong to do Malphas.

Majority of trap was moved definetly out of the game, i suppose.

I remember people complaining “Trap is useless, Trap is trash, Trap should be remove forever” on the forums.

Well they could simply not play it because nothing exclusive was tied to that mode. I liked zooming through traps and not losing a single … (what was it? ember?).

odd part is Devs of D4 said “some” content could be made core…but have they actually kept ANY seasons mechanic as core?? its been 6 seasons…

Well some uniques were made of s1 hearts and vampiric powers became aspects, AoZ → Pit but yeah mostly they are just gone.

I did like them as well. Shame that they’re gone now but it’s how Blizzard wants to treat the game.

There are players stay out of season realm as they are interested in temporary content.

You can play the season content in the coming PTR, just treat it as a one week season. You will have enough time to play the new content as you don’t need to grind for gears and materials.

The reason you feel like this is because the base game has no endgame activities worth doing. You’re doing the same thing leveling to 60 and then he same thing at 60. This make the entire experience stale after a week or two.

I would also add the time spent appeasing people on TV and the minions, has left the SH and open world situation in bad shape for far too long.

IH are ok, nothing to write home about though, take them away i wont be sad, it was a season gimmick imo. Happy for them to stay but boring as hell as core endgame.

Imagine SH with those choice mechanics leveling up each T level, ala division 2 in a sense also with replay-ablitly as the get re-taken by the evil. So much empty space not being built on. I don’t understand where the game is even going atm.

Same with Sq items. like grizzlies Maul, should become something special in endgame mode. Infused with a bear spirit or something and each attack is adds bear slams or boulders or something cool. and perhaps gear like this has charges like D1, So there is a neat nod to D1, idk man something sic could be done, but it isn’t.

Endgame SQ would also be awesome, brining life to the OW, in endgame, imagine being able to do quests like call of the ancients, but with endgame level rewards and such.
Perhaps only dungeon ones like this one, get the Endgame makeover, when played on T1 and above, or something like that. :man_shrugging: Heck just some obdi and powder even in low amounts would be something lol.

It;s a good game, that could be great, just begging for the real game to reveal itself one day. I am done with the tease. we had that for ten years with d3.

I’d personally like to see them abandon seasons until the game is wherever they want it to ultimately go systems-wise since basically none of the seasonal content has been that good, but I think the problem is that they’ve essentially been using the seasons to test ideas for future permanent content. It’s not a great excuse, but it is what I think they’ve been up to. :v:
