With respect, I cannot disagree with you more emphatically. Just because you find it useless doesnt mean every player feels the same way.
To help you understand the power of Occy:
With Occulus and evade cooldown on boots, you have INFINITE TELEPORT. So you have infinite panic buttons. Stuck in a NMD mob facing death? No problem… evade. About to be jumped on in NMD? No problem, evade tp. Getting hammered by a pesky rogue and out of a TP, no problem, evade with Occy and hit from distance. Getting stalked by a barb with high HP? Same idea.
With Reinforced glyph, this also gives you infinite barriers and 15% damage reduction. Which also means you have bleed / poison dagger / poison pool DOT stop if you spam TP.
Another use case for Occy: you create a barrier every time you teleport with occy. With concieted you get a damage bonus when you have a barrier. So with occy you have 100% uptime with concieted.
There are quite a few other use cases with occy and infinite evades and this is just to list a few. For example, infinite uptime of UC with flicker boots.
So in short, this is one of the main tools that increases survivability and a key tool for Conjuration builds in both pve and PvP. And Conjuration will be the new s tier this season. Every Conjuration sorc i know uses this wand.
There is a reason this is the wand of choice in PVP for sorc. Are you sure youre not a Barb in disguise trying to nerf our abilities?
Joking aside, i do appreciate the enthusiasm of posting suggestions as i see youve posted quite a few, but this specific suggestion is something we do not want. Want a new wand or new feature? Suggest a new one as opposed to fundamentally changing the nature of an existing one that other PVE and PVP enjoy.
