Deeds of a champion quest / NPC Missing

For me just simply walking in front of the Spirit Brazier of the Undercity fixed the issue. No other Questline or restarting the game needed!

Same here. I can find it in another place but only for a normal dialog. not to continue the quest. i finish the full mercenary quest. it not worked for me :frowning: hope of fix

Even though it showed my quest as finished and ready for a turn in, I had another part I had to do. I was at a purple circle south of Kurast. Once I did that I was able to find Sihek back in Kurast after doing that last part.

I had to go to the CONCIL CHAMBERS and speak with him there. His is sitting on the right side

This was the issue for me. He was not in town as part of one the the purple quests so I had to finish that first.

With my game, this just happened tonight. Sihek is missing in front of undercity due to friend finishing off this quest first when i was one dungeon behind from completion (2/3 vs 3/3). So just now, I realized he’s just stuck on the terrace beside the council chambers with the corpses and doesn’t respond to the quest, because it’s the wrong version of him. So is this an instance / trigger error?

Correction I understand the problem now. For everyone missing Sihek. Finish all Undercity quests (the purple ones). eventually it will fix itself. This is a weird mission order mismatch when you’re paired with someone else who has done other undercity missions ahead of you.

I was stuck as well. I had to go to the council and talk with one of the members, who gave me a “Slay the Terror of Five Hills” quest. Hopefully this will allow me to continue the quest line.

this is the answer for me also

This needs to be the top comment

This is exactly what happens to me. I have finished all mercenary and other quests. It says “Talk to Sihek” i found him in the circle below and to the right of the counsel chamber just standing around outside. I remember talking to him in this location after i talked to him in the clunsel chamber. But when i talked to him the quest never went away on my task list. Now when i try tobtalk to him again like it tells me to do, it just gives me a normal dialog prompt. I cant proceed. Please fix this ASAP!

Update: there are some priority quests (marked with purple cross icons) on my task list that arent a part of the Deeds of a champion: Tenets of “blah blah blah”. Hoping it may resolve my issue if i just finish all of them. I complete the first one, I follow the instructions at the end to talk to the npc and then, again, that task doesnt dissappear after i talk to them.

I also remember having to complete 2 or 3 quests mutiple times throughout the campaign. I would finish a quest then turn my PS5 off. When I logged in to play again, it was as if it didnt save to the bilzzard server and I had to do the quest again to proceed. Must be a similar thing happening here, but even worse. Fix this!

Update (still having the issue but made further progress): After reading many posts on this I noticed there are only 3 priority quests (marked with purple cross icons) that show they are associated/under the Deeds of a Champion campaign quest. Once you complete them, the gold icon keeps telling you to speak woth Sihek, even though you probably already did. But on your journal, on the map, there are additional priority quests listed under “Introduction quests”. Even though they dont look like they are are part of the Deeds of a Champion quest, they must be. I ssay this because after you complete each additional priority quest, it loads a gold icon on the map that insructs you to go talk to Sihek. After you talk to him the gold icon on the map doesnt dissappear and it still instructs you to talk to Sihek. It does this after you complete each one. After I finished the last one, Sihek goes back to the counselor chamber, like he did when you finished the last priority quest under Deeds of a Champion. I talk to him, then talk to Ormus, then talk to Sihek 1 final time. It then gives me the information prompt on Offerings and how they work. I then get a reward promt for completing the last priority quest, but guess what… IT TELLS ME TO TALK TO SIHEK AGAIN! I go down to the Undercity Spirit Brazier, where it indicates he is. And he isnt there. Then i walk back up to the Counsel Chamber and the gold icon moves to the chamber and indocates he is inside, and he isnt there either. Now i cant find him anywhere and the gold icon moves back and forth with me if i move between both positions.

So there is some latency with my progress saving to the Blizzard server. I say this because during the campaign i would complete quests and shut iff my PS5 and when i go back on it tells me to do the same quest again. It did this 3 times.

Please fix this ASAP!

OK, he’s in the council room even if the marker shows that he’s near Undercity
